Kronic Says: “Lil Jon and I we’re testing out ‘Bend Ova’ at a pool party during WMC, and Chuckie was side of stage. After an intellectual conversation of the most outrageous places we’d ever woken up in (sadly, no Bugattis), we got onto the subject of music. Turns out, he’d been playing out ‘Hey Ho’ and was already familiar with Krunk!’s remix of “Making Papers.” 

I mentioned that I felt that the current bounce stuff has a lot of the Dutch house flavour in it’s DNA, and after we stopped nodding our heads in agreement, he told us we should collab on something. So we sent him an idea a few weeks later, went back and forth on Skype and “Vamonos” was born. Krunk! and myself are super stoked to be apart of the rebirth of Dirty Dutch, and are honoured to release Vamonos locally on our own label. 

This has been my biggest record ever (#8 Beatport Electro House) and I can’t thank everyone enough for the support. I f-cking love all of you, see you over the summer”

The fall is in full swing and Sosumi Records continues the playlist
onslaught with the latest track from Promise Land – Let the Groove. On now their second release with the label the guys from Italy switch the script and deliver a tribal laced, bumping, grooving peak time destroyer of a record.
The drums begin from the outset building into a thumpy kick until the chant worthy breakdown entices the crowd to ‘Let the Groove’ get in before the climactic drop brings all the previously mentioned elements together in an anthemic ensemble of percussion and ‘feel’ only describable by a physical reaction, whether bumping of the head, rolling of the shoulders or stomping of the feet.  Sosumi aren’t finished for the year just yet!
