Putting this song together was a highlight from start to finish.  Featuring live instrumentation from the likes of Borahm Lee (keys) John Cave (guitar) Moto Fukushima (bass) Amon (percussion) Omar Little (trumpet)  Like a lot of people I've spent many hours fantasizing and dreaming about what Rio De Janeiro must be like.  The stories, images and history add fuel to fire.  For me, that dream needed a soundtrack, and here it is.  Official release date: March 7th

A few years ago I decided to put my spin on one of my favorite tunes by one of my all time fav artist.  Nina Simone.  It's a deep/emotional tune, which is Nina's pedigree.  My mix was pressed on '7 vinyl back in '08 and sold out in vinyl shops across the globe.

The combination of samples and live instrumentation is a win win in my book.  "Not Guilty" was a beat that I originally created a few years ago.  It was sitting on my hard drive collecting dust until recently one day while watching this doc. on youtube called LA92, I could hear this beat playing in the background, so I touched it up a little bit and decided to release it as a single, my first single of 2020.  I hope you dig it!!

My original version of "I dream of Rio" was released back in 2014 featured on my debut EP "Cross Fade".  I recently put this alternative mix together as a tribute to my man John Cave, the amazing guitar player featured on this track, who sadly passed away a couple of years ago.  I wanted to give it a more natural, live feel...something I think he would've appreciated.  Thank you for your contribution to this piece of art John, R.I.P. brother!
