Powder is an up-and-coming producer from Tokyo who had put out only a couple of releases on Born Free and ESP Institute when Resident Advisor featured her on the monthly series “Breaking Through” this past August.
Inspired by her first visit to Cocktail d’Amore in 2015, she was so enthralled by the atmosphere, she started working on an EP for the label – capturing her experiences from the party.
The way Powder interprets sound is extremely personal and unique. 
The opener “Hip” has a driving sensual groove with hints of acid, seasoned with a good amount of loons and a mysterious foggy melody while “Heart” sounds like an italo disco aural translation of a shojo manga script for a “fun in the sun” tinged story.
On the flip side a slowmo industrial-meets-rainforest groove characterizes “Hole” followed by “Hair” in which she blends many layers of rhythm patterns together.

Get ready to get weird: we’re ringing in the new year with Daniel Baughman (@baughman), who first caught our eye at Dekmantel this summer. Alongside doing A&R at John Talabot's label, Hivern Discs, he also curates the line ups for Barcelona's audiophile listening bar Nica and is part of Magic Teapot Records. Phew, now you can tell why it took us so long to get a hold of him. 

As for the mix, expect the unexpected. Daniel’s known for his eclectic music choices, carving out his very own genre which defies definition. As the man himself says: best listened to without distractions — peace.

For long Philipp Otterbach, DJ, producer and record collector, devote himself with endurance to music. When Düsseldorf’s shrine for outernational grooves Salon des Amateurs opened in 2004, he became one of the first residents. Since 2014 Philipp released music on labels like GROKENBERGER, Tour Messier or Knekelhuis and left marks as a remixer for artists like Brainwaltzera, DJ Normal 4 or Wolf Müller & Niklas Wandt. The Otter joined Warning as a Resident DJ in 2018 and since then actively helps to shape the sound and vibe of the Berlin project.

Frinda di Lanco’s selection ranges from cosmic, disco, italo and synth-pop to wave, new beat and proto-house. In her sets she combines the obscure and the powerful, the ironic and the iconic. She frequently occurs in clubs around her hometown Berlin, debuted at festivals like Primavera Sound and Fusion Festival in 2019 and toured through China and Japan. With her partner Hendrik Stein she is running Avec Plaisir to unveil and reissue forgotten jams, both of them are affiliates of Warning since day 1.
