Got stuck in the elevator had laptop with me ... electricity had gone ... made this music ... made myself feel scared ... later i started hearing voices in the elevator ... ! D'= !  God Forgive ME! 



The lights flickered uselessly, the small library elevator coming to a sudden stop, the three beings located inside almost falling onto the carpeted floor below. The wind seemed to pick up, since it could be heard even inside, thunder and lightning ripping across the cloudy night sky, disturbing the silence everyone worked to maintain.

Three people, all completely different in every sense of the word, looked upwards as if an explanation would be in the pattern of the white ceiling. The only thing out of the ordinary was the gray vent in the center of the ceiling, which stuck out like a disease-ridden thumb. Looks of worry were shot everywhere possible, but nothing changed the fact that they were stuck, no escape showing itself in the time of need, no help coming no matter how hard they tried.

"W-what's happening?" the woman of the three questioned no one in particular, her brown well kept hair starting to hang in crystal blue eyes.

"Well obviously," A teenager male started, his green hair sticking out even more than the vent, piercings littering what seemed like every inch of his lean body, "we're stuck in this idiotic elevator with no hope of rescue. Just letting you know…."

This comment received a glare from not only the female church organist, but the pastry chef as well who stood on the far wall, twiddling his thumbs out of habit and nerve. 

"What do you mean?" the chef asked quizzically, his gaze shooting between the two strangers before his brilliance, "Of course rescue is coming for us! They wouldn't just leave us to die… would they?"

"How could you possibly know that?" The teen questioned again, taking out one headphone to hear better, the music threatening to burst out of the tiny contraption, "you haven't called anybody have you? They probably don't even know about us!"

All color drained from the older man's face, "well I can fix that!" he exclaimed, pulling out the advanced technology. But his hope soon vanished in an instant, as there was no service in their predicament, no bars showing on the touch screen. 

"There's no service is there?" The youngest questioned smugly, showing his point as the man could only shake his head, his gaze not leaving the phone, hoping his intense but shocked stare would somehow penetrate it and receive service for his kind efforts.

"AHH! We're all going to die!" The instrumental woman wailed, bringing long feminine fingers through her fine hair, almost pulling out the strands in the process, "we're going to starve and their going to find our skeletal corpses on the ground cold and helpless!"

"Lady!" The teen stated, raising his voice significantly, "if it gets to that point I'm not hesitating in eating you first!"

It was silent after the outburst as the woman got on her knees and folded her hands before her. The two others looked at her curiously, lost for words at what to do about the woman sitting on the floor not making a noise or sound, head bowed as if she were begging for mercy.

But the nice and well-deserved silence committed suicide as a large bang resonated in the enclosed space, everyone sending their hands flying up to protect their ears. Suddenly the cool air blowing from the vent above died down, the lights flickering one last time before shutting off completely, leaving just a faint glow from the electronic device the chef still held in his shaking hands. They all looked upwards in an attempt to see what happened, the teenage boy digging a lighter from his pocket and lighting it, shedding light onto the situation. He stared enchanted by the flame before raising it upwards, the church member incoherently muttering something about a fear of fire from the corner she had decided to adopt as her own. 

But the sight above made everybody cold, a crimson liquid squeezing through the long openings, streaming onto the blue carpet below. There was no noise after that, only of the shocked and shallow breathing of the three people, no communication being forced or even thought about as they all stared to the vent.

The vent soon started opening slowly, not banging against the opposite wall like intended, but slowly like gravity didn't exist at all… or if someone was opening it themselves.

Someone, or rather… something.
