OBELISK’s style of techno has continued to evolve over the years under influence of various genres of electronic music, ranging from deep soulful house to techno and everything in between. Drawing from these has resulted in a sound of their own both in the studio and in their DJ sets. 

Being homed near Duesseldorf, Germany the two Artists Steve and Rick came across each other and detected their common ground for German techno sound. They founded their project OBELISK in 2010, which brought them nurture the raw and electronic sound they love to pump. Inspired by big artists, Production and remix work have been fundamental in pushing them forward both as artists and DJ’s. Since then, their production style has constantly evolved while staying true to their sound of groove laden, dark inspired techno and late night pulsing grooves.

From a production standpoint, OBELISK takes on creating music stresses continuity and association. Exploring their self identified concept and direction has allowed them to create their own musical fusion that will never sacrifice in creative exploration.

So keep you ears peeled cause it’s time to get shattered by an OBELISK.
