In 2017 nøvae stood the fist time behind a small DJ booth in a bar in Lübeck. From this point her enthusiasm was sparked to play electronic music herself. One year later she moved to Leipzig where she founded the muy bien collective with some friends. Since 2020 she is part of the Brotfabrik Crew. Characteristic is a melodic progressive style with some indie dance sounds. But depending on the evening it’s also possible to hear a classic disco track. 

In this mix I tried to give the past dark months of nightlife and empty streets in Leipzig some feeling of warm summer melodies, remembering you, that hopefully soon again you will meet happy people talking without worries and having drinks on every corner.

Although he is currently based in Berlin, we actually first became fans of James back in 2017-2018 when he was based in San Francisco as he would regularly perform throughout some of the best underground clubs in the city.  

We couldn't be more proud to have him as a guest, as he played an early role in our early interests in the underground house and techno scene in San Francisco that ultimately led to the founding of So It Goes.
