Last Friday 26th of August I had the big pleasure to play at one of my favorites and renowned underground clubs from our beloved city, Barcelona. 

A real dream came true, close to lots of friends and with a previous event at Bridge 48 all together with the "We funked it up" and "Time Lapse" families, and curated by Mags Trimarchi, Ivo Mele, Andreu, Uzo, Alvaro Camacho and Mar.C. 

It was such a great feeling to play a techno warm up set, opening the night for big friends and mentors from the music industry like Belmont and Lega aka No Intellectual Property with an epic closing of  Andromeda. Getting my friends in the trancey mood for my birthday was unique.

Brothers in Law is the duo formed by Hafa Basili & Dan Sberci. Hafa Basili started his career in mid-2008, he was a resident of Psycho Trip and Aludra projects, both created by Dj and Producer Guss. Hafa was also part of the Snake Records and 2SoulAgency cast, which brought him performances at important Clubs and Parties.
Electronic music has always been present in Dan Sberci's life, and from the common taste for the sound line, the idea of joining Hafa and starting the project came up. The Duo is currently a resident of the TANZ party and has been receiving praise for demonstrating versatility in their sets that are based on Minimal Techno but know how to adapt to the occasion and hold the track according to the party's proposal.

This week we have a special treat with a guest and friend who’s been rising steadily in our sister city a couple of hours east.

Montreal-based DJ and producer, @jaresmusic' inspiration comes from a firm belief that deep progressive sonorities, combined with a detailing beat, can produce an inner state of euphoria and mindfulness.

His style blends ethereal, orchestral and progressive sounds that explore the deeper shades of the musical spectrum. These original sounds and textures enabled him to share his work on labels such as Katermukke, UV, Beatfreak, Deep Tales, Steyoyoke, Natura Viva, Harabe and Freegrant Music.

Jares got the chance to showcase his sounds in Canada's finest clubs including the world-renowned Stereo Afterhours, as well as playing alongside legends like Hannes Bieger, Miss Monique, Soul Button, Henry Saiz and Dosem.

Pk Live, had his first contact with electronic music around 1994 and after a few years was already cutting and pasting pieces of K7 tapes to create his own playlists. A keen researcher and extremely demanding, he values the construction of atmospheres and creates unique moments in his performances, taking advantage of the time, climate and environment, always analyzing the place and choosing the construction he is going to make. He is currently one of the creators of Progression (Progressive Parties inside the D-Edge Club in São Paulo), also one of the partners of Unik ID (which pioneered Progressive in the city of São Paulo), a partner in Secret Encounters, which is an itinerant Progressive and Deep House party, and one of the residents at Inprogress since its foundation. He has played at major clubs and festivals such as D-Edge Festival, Zeitgeist Curitiba, Lions Club, Trackers, D-Edge and others. Responsible for building incredible warm ups for artists such as Nick Warren, Cid Inc, Marcelo Vasami, Toto Chiavetta, Kamilo Sanclemente, among others. He is considered by many to be a DJ in the essence of the word and believes that musicality must always come before any other interest."
