The synths whisper as the mysterious figure rises from his moniker once more. It’s late but that doesn’t mean I’ll Give Up On You — the movie is about to begin as the drums rattle around at a harmonious junction. A preview of Ambience 2000 is shown and I can’t wait for the premiere. It’s Not Easy to not drift off into the distant tomorrows when listening to DJ OSX’s “omkesizze”. It is an ode to a previous life and the beginning of something new. The time is now and once Ahn hits your stereo, you know it’s your cue to go ahead. Susan approves.

We are excited to announce the launch of our label with the release of OBERHAUM01, a dynamic Various Artists EP spotlighting producers who have previously featured on our radio. This release showcases three rhythm-driven tracks, each offering a distinctive sonic identity while sharing a common focus on depth and rhythm.

First up is DJ OSX with “Shutting Capes”—a track built on rhythmic percussion and a rolling low end. As it builds, a pad drifts in, adding a layer of emotion and space without losing the drive.

Next, Davut Yildiz delivers “Trigger Response”, blending Middle Eastern-inspired melodies with deep breakbeats and high-pitched, rhythmic, spacey elements to create a sense of expansive depth.

Closing the release, Uksimo presents “Informal”, a minimalist four-to-the-floor groove. With crisp percussion and intricately layered modular synths, the track offers a clean and focused atmosphere.

For this week OBERHAUM teams up with Auris Listening Session, presenting the set of Loma Doom.

Loma Doom is the alias of Amsterdam’s Femke Dekker, a seasoned radio veteran and masterful selector of twisted and mesmerizing sounds. Her sets weave dark world rhythms, moody psychedelia, light folk and slick electronica into deeply intuitive journeys.

Beyond the decks, Femke is an arts educator and sound practitioner exploring listening as artistic practice. Her eclectic taste spanning freak folk, psychedelic, hardcore punk and electronic experimentalism has brought her to Salon Des Amateurs, Meakusma and Dekmantel.
