This song was written by myself and my friends when we were about 15/16 in our school band days. The original version with vocals, recorded after I left the band circa 2006, can be heard here https://myspace.com/cellarworks/music/songs. 

The version you are hearing is a re-recording I have done minus vocals using Cubase LE5. Guitars and bass were recorded through a POD X3 and the drums were recorded using an M-Audio Keystation Mini and HALionOne software that comes with Cubase LE5 through a Tascam US-122 external soundcard.

This is a rough cut. I only did 1 take of the solo, so I may very well re-record it later.

Since Feb 2014 I've been playing guitar for Ross Candy, a Scottish singer/songwriter based in London. This is one of the tracks off his self titled first EP available on iTunes and here on Soundcloud. It's only a rough cut at the moment so please excuse the rough mix. 

Using an Ibanez EW20ASE Electro-acoustic tuned to Eb through a Tascam US-122 MkII. Keyboard sounds created using an M-Audio Keystation Mini 32. Recorded using Cubase LE5 for Windows. 

Ross Candy - I Can't See It (Acoustic)

Another song I tracked guitars on for Ross Candy's  2nd EP. 
Recorded at Auburn Jam Studios in Wimbledon. Highly recommend those guys. Home made studio with a great feel and a great engineer, Joe. 
Recorded using an emulated AC30 sound via a Line 6 POD X3. Effects were also processed in the POD X3 and in post production with Cubase. Guitar used was an Ibanez SA160QM fitted with a Bareknuckle Nailbomb in the bridge position. 

Ross Candy - Show Me Love

One of my flat mates needed Gladys Night & the Pips' Midnight Train to Georgia editing to represent someone having a nightmarish breakdown/trip. This is what I came up with.

This is a rough mix of an original piece I thrashed out in an afternoon on Cubase. There's a heavy influence from Remi Gallego a.k.a The Algorithm with a bit of Muse and SikTh thrown in for good measure.

This is my final submission piece for the Principles of Audio Technology module of my degree. 
Every member of the class was given the same anechoic recording of a woman speaking Danish. We were then asked to place to speech in one of three environments. A stairwell, cafe or an open field. 
The brief for my piece is the anechoic speech is being played over a P.A system at a train station cafe. 
I received full marks for my work. Which I'm chuffed about.

This is the almost final edit of a track I posted on here a few months back. Re-written and re-recorded in Pro Tools this mix of the track was submitted as my final piece of work for the Pro Tools module of my degree.
