∎ "Escama" is the debut EP by Iguana. Hailing from the east side of São Paulo, Iguana is a cryptic producer who pushes Baile Funk into obscure new territories. DJ MAWIG is an artist and DJ based in Bordeaux, France whose eclectic mixes and blends have become well known in the internet club scene. She juxtaposes the feminine and beautiful with sounds of harsh, cathartic rage. With a deep commitment to sonic exploration, DJ MAWIG curates her sets from hundreds of hours spent digging through the hidden, often overlooked corners of SoundCloud, unearthing rare gems and underground sounds.
