For the 11th Parabel Podcast we asked the label boss of Bond, Petter B, to contribute with a mix. At the same time we also asked Petter to tell us a bit more about this 3 h recording...

"This year its my twenty year anniversary as a DJ. I have gone back and forth between different mediums over the years. Such as vinyl, CDs, usb-sticks, computers, adding effects, samplers, different mixers and what not. I feel that each component has given me an unique approach to the music and has therefor also highly effected how I play. I have long thought about "the next step" for me to tap in to the music. Wanting to bring it closer to me and give new dimensions to work with.  This set is kind of a starting point of a new direction on my everlasting journey. Adding my old treasured 707 drum machine has given me a new way of looking at my performance and my ability to express myself as an artist."

Ahoi ihr Tiefseetaucher!
Naaah....mal wieder was aus der Konserve durchs Ohr gehen lassen ? Aber nicht mit uns! Natürlich habe ich mal wieder nen kleines Schmankerl für euch um die Sonne auf dem Schiffsdeck so richtig zu genießen. 
Unsere neue Kombüsenliebe - Aemsel & Krepel haben wieder mal einen wilden Mix im Einklang von Pulverfass und Kanonenschlag gezaubert. Der Sechspfünder ist bis oben hin vollgestopft mit Mustergetränkten Tönen, welche sich weit aufs Meer hinaus tragen lassen.  
Quark. Kleines Späßchen.
Denn hier geht es eher um die seichten Gewässer, wohl eher ein leichtes Tuckern könnte man meinen. Eine Mischung zwischen Popeys Spinatkutter und Captain Nemos Unterseeboot.  
Aber überzeugt euch selbst und haltet euer Ohr ans Dosentelefon. Man kanns einfach nicht besser beschreiben was wir da wieder am Haken haben.

Analogue warmth meets raw energy: This furious mixture made Andre Kronert a synonym for powerful and high-octane sound. Since 1994 he has set countless parties and festivals on fire, proving himself to be a major reason for escalating atmospheres and bursting dance floors whereever he goes.

In his productions Andre Kronert performs a mesmerizing balancing act between two worlds. On the one side, there is the raw energy and explosive power of his ecstatic, repetitive rhythms. On the other side his style is characterized by subtle build-ups, filigree sound textures and the warmth of analogue synthesis. For a good reason, since Andre Kronert has been an avid vinyl lover since he started DJing over 15 years ago. During his live performances he exclusively relies on his beloved music machinery which includes no laptop.

Andre´s thirst for new enterprises frequently reaches hyperactive dimensions and is the driving force behind his labels Odd/Even, 3rd Wave Music or Neurotron Music and the mysterious Knowone.
The charismatic guy from Berlin produces music that shines with versatility, flavour and has the ability to tell a story to its listeners. Released on labels like EXILE, Stockholm Limited, Figure, Mosaic or his very own ODD/EVEN, to name a few. Artists like Markus Suckut, Len Faki, Jonas Kopp, Efdemin, Ed Davenport, Pär Grindvik, Mike Dehnert, Deadbeat, Pfirter and many more have remixes done for his productions.

Standstill is no possibility for Andre, he always delivers and surprises us with new facets of himself and his passion for music.
