Our next podcast series 004 we have invited PLOZNERPLOZNER, italian guy born in 1999 near Venice,began attending clubs at a very young age with a friend who was already a DJ, and so the love for electronic music was born immediately.
Driven on minimal and house sounds, he began playing in his city in 2017 creating his format, DEPENDA // ENCE, managing to propose many local artists, making himself known in the area ,and in the 2021 he became resident of one of the most important formats in the region , KATHISIMA.
During the last two years he started a collaboration with a world famous radio GOODYMUSICRADIO.

DJ, producer, promoter & cultural manager in Chile, born in Temuco, with a career spanning 2 decades evolved from an enthusiastic raver of the mid-90s.  His musical references range from House in Detroit, to minimalism in Frankfurt, to acid in Chicago and Manchester, as well as his roots in jazzy hip hop, and the new wave and British synth popCamilo took his first step in production in 2007 as Dj Sony, and his first teacher and friend & an emblem in Chile; Miguel Tutera (Eukahouse Records), & Later Felipe Venegas (Cadenza - Drumma) gave him the weapons to start the path in both solo projects to take a giant leap with his partners in Spain such as the duo [ØNE + 1], on his tour in Ibiza in 2016 Camilo launched his own vinyl label called W3IRD.LTD

ENRICO CRONE, class of '95. As a young boy, he listened to his first vinyls from his father's stereo, thus beginning to cultivate a passion for music. He approached the world of nightlife by proposing his music in the discos of the Treviso area, arriving in a short time at the big clubs in the north-east, sharing the console with internationally renowned guests.
His DJ sets are a meeting of different genres: house, funky, minimal and tech house are not to be missed in his selections, alternating new releases with older records, moving from vinyl to digital.

Next up on Q1E2 Recordings – for the label’s fifth release so far – is Dr Sud. He’s a Rome-born, Berlin-raised producer whose music is a fusion of percussion-centric soundscapes and integrated jazz-leaning harmonies, drawing inspiration from diverse genres like electronica, funk, and house.

Then, ‘Life Itself’ reflects daytime, revolving around an arpeggiating synth that soon makes way for luscious keys.

An excursion into percussive bliss concludes side A in the form of the magical, grin-inducing ‘Evening Breath’. This, as you might have guessed, is where the listener cruises through smoothly into the final stages of the day. It encapsulates that last burst of light as the sun sets and a slight shiver of the evening air slivers up your spine.

This is some seriously high quality music on show here from Dr Sud. The EP is out on Q1E2 Recordings in September.

Tiago A.F. (also known as Mount Jam and soon to release works under the Nine Two alias) debuts in production duties via O Sótão Records with the upcoming 2 Years EP, set to be released in November 10, 2023.

Originally from Porto but based Lisbon, Tiago is a super promising producer that over the last 8 years has built an impressive collection of music yet to be unveiled. Everytime we sat with him we were amazed by the quantity and quality of the files he showed us and we couldn't miss the chance of curating his debut release that includes four tracks created between 2020 and 2022.

Hence the title of the EP. 2 Years. Because being an independent producer while working at the same time is not easy as you probably know. Especially if music is an escape for you - something light, to have fun, to let the mind free and feel grounded at the same time. And these four tracks are incredibly respectful of that spirit, of that feeling you get when you're grooving. Good news is that he intends to open up his vaults and release more tracks in various other genres, such as Dub Techno and Deep House, so this could very much be the beginning of something really cool from this talented guy.

Delving into his House, Disco and Deep House roots, 2 Years EP is also sonically connected to Tiago's proud inclinations for Jazz, Blues, Gospel or RnB. The
elements flow into a sonic trademark that is original and, we believe, soon-to-be recognisable. Mesmerizing vocal samples, percussion sections and chord progressions are all compacted into a mix of electronic and precise choices of instrumentation, providing a groovy, good-feeling and bouncy pace. Embracing club music origins, this record is spiritually connected to Jazz hats, Counter-bass chords and the soulful sentimental instincts of Gospel music.

After his demo tracks have gathered the attention of some moguls in the Portuguese club scene, resulting in the nomination by the renowned DJ Vibe as the rookie of the year in the country's electronic music panorama in 2021, this is a truly solid debut from this guy that just really loves and understands music at his core. We hope that this is not the last and that it doesn't take two years to release the next one. 2 Years EP will be available on Bandcamp from November 10. Welcome Tiago A.F.
