Oussama Ben Mahmoud, better known as O.B.M Notion was born in Sfax, the second city of Tunisia in 1992.

The young North African has caused quite a stir on the uplifting scene with a unique style fusing classical and ultra positive trance themes. Since the age of 17, O.B.M Notion took inspiration from early Tiesto, Aly & Fila, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Above & Beyond, Sean Tyas, Sebastian Brandt and as a self taught DJ and producer he hasn't looked back since.

Through various original tracks and remixes on a selection of popular imprints, the 21 year old has managed to capture the ears of the leading stars in the scene such as the king of trance himself, Armin van Buuren and the Egyptian pharaohs Aly & Fila, earning him regular airplay on the globally adored ASOT (including Future Favourite) & FSOE radio shows. Also irish trance hero Sniejder is a firm supporter of his sounds along with Italian maestro Manuel Le Saux and many more.

The future for one of the most popular next generation names in trance is yet to be written, but O.B.M Notion is on the path to the higher realms of global trance music and is flying the flag for Tunisian trance!
