Podcast 119 brings a brilliant recording from French artist named Jeremie Kagan, a 25-year-old producer from Nantes, right near the French west coast. Jeremie started off in 2014 focussing primarily on psytrance and still does, however not much later he decided to shift his focus to the realm of techno, which is now a side project of him. As he self-describes, this transition made him melt a more melancholic atmosphere with hypnotic and mental grooves. 

The almost 2-hour recording that he has put together for us expresses all of this. One can expect a truly immersive journey that will seemingly grasp away your perception of time.  Enjoy the ride.

This story contains a selection of the tracks that I played in my set at Monument's forest gathering outside of Oslo in the summer 2020. There are some music here that's been with me for a while now, in different phases and journeys in my life, that I'm happy and grateful to bring together for this musical excursion. Giorgi Dolaberidze, also known as OBRI, is a techno/psytrance DJ and producer from Tbilisi, Georgia. With years of experience, he's become a prominent figure in the Georgian trance music scene. Starting in mid 2000's as a psytrance artist, OBRI has evolved into techno, fusing his passion with psychedelic influences. He's released tracks with renowned labels like the iconic Goa trance label Dragonfly Records, Diffuse Reality, Boshke Beats and Horns & Hoofs.
He is also a co-founder of Pitch Studio, a multifunctional musical space, and supports known or unknown artists to develop in the local scene.
