Frank Rayo explores ambitiously within multiple music genres to express himself artistically. The answer to his feelings he has called GrooAve: A groovy spirit on a raving energy. 

On his GrooAve series, Frank contrasts dark & forceful sounds with bright & colorful feelings, mixing them on the decks with quick moves and tons of energy.  

In the 4th edition of his series the Colombian artist brings for the Obscur Podcast a fast paced journey that blends latin groove and tribal trance, meanwhile his sound diversity expands the limits into dark hypnotic soundscapes and strong powerful drops.

Lenn Reich is a DJ/Producer born and raised in Ulm, Germany, a techno hot-spot in the 90’s and early 2000’s. He quickly found his way into the nightlife and was consumed by the heavy basslines and the driving energy. Coming from a family full of old-school Techno and car enthusiasts, he kept the spirit: Fast’n’Loud!  
After becoming resident at Gleis44 and later  Klub Pan, he started playing in clubs all over Germany and the ravers were mesmerized by his combination of oldschool groovy, hypnotic sound and hard kicks with crazy tribal synths, all in old fashioned 2k manners!

Temazcal is the essence of a long journey, the gift of an Aztec that would change her life. A long time ago, Temazcal discovered her love for music from the electronic universe, in which she moved for many years. Fascinated by the fact that music is a language that everyone can understand without having to speak, she spent years collecting music that triggered happiness hormones and feelings of freedom in her.

On one of her trips through Mexico, she met the Aztec Sergio, who took her to a hidden Mayan village on the Yucatán peninsula, as if by divine providence. There he initiated her into the traditional ritual of the indigenous people. Temazcal is a ritual based on the four elements: Fire, water, earth and air. The experience strengthened her spirituality and gave her the courage to take her music out into the world. Her sound is a combination of hypnotic, groovy, oldschool and very driving.

AISHA is based in Glasgow and her heavyweight productions and energy soaked sets have cemented her at as a producer and DJ at the forefront of Scotland’s dense underground scene.

AISHA’s sound is ‘trippy euphoria’ - taking you on a trip through pumping psychedelic techno and trance. Rolling basslines, fast BPM’s and soaring melodies are present throughout her sets, which are as versatile as they are incendiary, leading her to consistently play and hold residencies in Europes best underground clubs such as RSO and Sub Club, as well a play for big events such as Teletech and Verknipt.

A keen producer, she has released on labels such as Taapion, Maison Close, Dusk Records, Teletech, Underzone + Speedmaster to name a few, as well as winning Best Electronic at 2021’s Scottish Alternative Music Awards.

For several years now, BitterCaress has been flourishing on her musical journey. With a solid background  in classical music, having studied piano at the conservatory in Paris, she fell in love with techno upon her arrival  in Montreal in 2014. 

A professional raver and events' organizer, she had the chance to broaden her musical horizons before stepping  behind the decks at the end of 2018. 

Her sharp selection reveals a marked taste for heavy bass and uncompromising beats. Mixing trancy  atmospheres with raw energies, her style is best described as groovy and energetic. The artist gets highly creative  behind the decks with her openness to other genres and her appetite for risks when it comes to playing  unexpected guilty pleasures.

She is already well-established in the Montreal local scene with many gigs under her belt, notably at Stereo  Nightclub, the Society of Arts and Technology [SAT], Piknic Electronik, or for the OCTOV and Exposé Noir  collectives. Having shared stages with Anetha, Nur Jaber, François X, Mac Declos, Parallx, Julian Muller, Laure  Croft, or DINA among others, she has carved out her place in the contemporary techno landscape. 

Since the end of 2021, she has also begun to make waves internationally with several podcasts recorded for  renowned SoundCloud channels such as The Brvtalist, RAW, Fast Forward Productions, SUBSTANTIV, or  Groove Magazin. Continuing this momentum, at the end of summer 2022, the artist made her European debut,  playing in Paris, Lyon, Madrid, Berlin, Copenhagen, and London. During the summer of 2023, she embarked on  a new European tour and expanded it to Vienna and Prague. In late 2023, she debuted for Boiler Room in  Montreal. 
She is currently preparing a new European tour scheduled for autumn 2024. 
Simultaneously, since her debut and until the beginning of 2023, BitterCaress has been curating the Mixing for a  Cause podcast series where she gives the floor to local and international artists to raise awareness about causes  that are meaningful to them. In the same spirit, since the end of 2020, she is now managing her own project called  MFC Records, a label and event series initiated as a way to support newcomers, fresh talents, and established  artists from all over the world who would like to support a cause. All proceeds from the releases and parties go to  carefully chosen non-profit organizations. Through this series of podcasts, events, and this label, she hopes to  raise awareness and contribute to a better future world.
