he Berlin-based producer duo Kalte Liebe keeps drawing their inspiration from Post-Punk, Grunge, Dark Wave, EBM, and Techno.
Coming with years-long experiences in different musical projects ranging from beat-making over metal bands, and more they started back in 2019 using a drum machine, a bass synth, and a wasted microphone, only.

Authentically recorded in a 12 square meter room Kalte Liebe started out as an experiment combining diverse influences by the likes of DAF, Falco, Thomas P. Heckmann and more into their distinctively analog, raw, and bassline-driven style.

While their productions are mostly consisting of an elaborated mixture of EBM and old-school Dark Wave paired with technoid characteristics and captivating, roughly distorted vocals in German and English the duo equally stands for tool-ish and highly energetic Techno – modern, pounding, and dirty.

With recent releases on labels like 01010100 Records, Vitus Curse and BFT, even more strongly performing self-releases like „Ego EP“ and their recent work „Dopamin“ they are slowly establishing their name in the scene and quickly growing their audience. With loads of unreleased work and their Vocal Live Performance Kalte Liebe is soon to be heard all over.

Melanchromie steht nie still. Auf dem Floor oder hinter den Decks, Hauptsache der Schrittzähler brennt. Mit elektronischer Musik kam die gebürtige Berlinerin früh in Kontakt. Schnell war es ihr ein Anliegen, die Szene mitzugestalten. Denn was ist besser als Tanzen? Genau, tanzen UND die Musik aussuchen. Heute ist sie als DJ unterwegs, organisiert Underground Partys und porträtiert andere Künstler*innen. Ob hinter der Kamera oder den Decks, ihre Mission ist es, den Menschen ein gutes Gefühl zu geben. Ihr Sound hart aber herzlich, wie eine feste Umarmung. Vor Genre-Hopping schreckt sie nicht zurück und bewegt sich irgendwo zwischen Hard Techno und Hard Trance, mit einer ordentlichen Portion Groove. Immer dabei: Was Melodisches für’s Herz. Seit neuestem ist sie auch Resident bei Ataraxia, um ihre innere Trancemaus auszuleben und hat für uns einen Mix aus Fast House und Trance aufgenommen.

The summer was rather rainy and grey in Hamburg, the hometown of 369, a 26y/o Groove Techno DJ. 

Inspired by the german techno capital - Berlin, this set is for everyone who wants the summer to go for an extra lap and of course for the lovely people who never experienced a summer rave in Berlin - capturing all the essence of what a sunny day and sexy night feels in the german techno capital.

Starting off with a lot of vocals, funky rythms and bouncy basslines - creating a quite youthful sound, representing the daytime raves.
Going over to  old school groove techno tuning the atmosphere progressively heavier without losing focus on the feel-good vibe.

Dirty Disco Divas @TOPSPIN TECHNO (Obscur TakeOver September 2023)

Wow, was für ein unglaublicher Ritt! Nach einer dreijährigen Pause habe ich mich endlich wieder hinter die Decks gewagt, mit einem völlig neuen Sound und einigen selbst produzierten Tracks.

Ein riesiges Dankeschön geht an alle, die die Tanzfläche zum Beben gebracht haben.  Eure Energie hat meine anfängliche Aufregung im Nu verfliegen lassen und den Abend zu einem unvergesslichen Highlight gemacht.

Ein besonderer Dank geht auch an das gesamte Bushbash Kollektiv & die Helfende-Crew, die für eine fantastische Organisation und Atmosphäre gesorgt hat.

Und natürlich ein lautes Shoutout an @montezumaofficial, @kathie-heretsch, @khnmusic und @glitzerlina. Ihr habt den Abend mit eurer geilen Musik zu einem unvergesslichen Event gemacht, das noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird.
