One of my good friends sent me this song a while ago. He told me it'd make a great sample. While i haven't gotten around to actually sampling it, it did inspire me to make this account. This song was not available on any of the streaming services where i am active. But seeing this song get little to no views on youtube, peaked my interest. It felt as if i was propelled into a very close community of people, people who had also heard this song or knew this artist. I pondered on this for a while. Reminding myself of the many fandoms i had been part of, that were somewhat obscure. Obscurity for me, conveys a special emotion. A feeling that is more than just nostalgia for a place you don't know. Because the place can not even be visited. You can look at the place through a gas-station window from the other side of the street. But that gas station window contains more action than most of the stuff you see while  on the road. A Chinese old man could dig up this vinyl record out of his garage while i am typing this. Thinking about all the nice memories attached to this song. being able to hold this little audio file close to my heart as well, gives me an intense feeling of connection to all the things in life i cannot see. And so i would encourage you all, to take some time out of your days for the gas station window. -F

i forgot this account existed. But i feel that there is unfinished work over here. This beautiful piece of music will start my final sprint into the finalization of this account (the first volume). This Bob Dylan cover by Dolly Porter was only ever test pressed. It makes me sad that talent like this can be so easily forgotten. I have to admit there is charm to the crackling of the record but still... there is potential that is left unsaid.
