P.S. The song was named like this after the name of the loops with which I composed it in GarageBand. Liffey is a river in Ireland. More on it for a start here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/River_Liffey. I can best describe this song as a mixture of alternative rock and hard rock. I hope you will agree with me.

Across The Liffey

An instrumental cover of mine of the Link Wray classic 'Rumble'. The track was recorded using an MacBook Pro Mid 2011 with GarageBand as the recording application. In regards to drumming, instead of following the same beat as on the original I decided to go with a Swing-based approach. I hope you'll like my rendition of this classic!

The chords and notes for this song (as well as the strumming patter for that matter) are quite simple: D major to E major and then D major to A major, followed by a pentatonic trick at the end.
