XX LAB is an electronic music label founded in 2021 by François X. 
Based in Paris, the label acts as a research platform for independent minded artists whose musical aesthetic is oriented towards avant-garde electronic music. 
It will release a mixture of electronic and crossover projects steamed by a pragmatic approach based on utopian socialism and forward thinking principles.

PREMIERE: Wheez-ie - Distress Beacon (Mála Ádh)

Thick panels of mahogany wood stretched from the floor to the ceiling, leaving the room feeling dark and claustrophobic. As she entered she felt all eyes fall on her, though she tried her best to avoid meeting anyone's glare. As she arrived at her seat, the stoney-faced judge entered from a side door, not giving anything away. As the gavel hit the soundblock, she felt her heart drop into her stomach. 

After notching up EPs for the likes of Lobster Theremin and Ophism, London-based Irishman Céilí readies the first LUCKYBAG release on his own Mála Ádh imprint. A V/A made up of friends and family, the six-track record hits you square in the face with a pummeling selection of gabber, rave and techno-influenced cuts, from artists like DJ Ketaflush, Cressida, Julien Andreas, Wheez-ie, MarcelDune and Céilí, himself.

The fourth installment of Sonic Textures series is going to enlighten once more the most cuttin' edge artists in the electronics scene: 
Lair, artist, singer, compose and producer puts elements of ritual, mysticism, deep listening, meditation and energy work,  expressed through the lens of textured and layered electronic music derived from vocal samples; 
Visceral, densely textured, and intricately programmed, Swarm Intelligence’s distinctive sound comes from almost a decade of releases, spanning multiple genres and tempos; 
6SISS, half of Motive Power (47 Records) goes through progressive cinematronica to gritty industrial warehouse techno layered with some drama; 
Nemrac, Syncretism co-founder, shows his club-oriented approach in a visceral and incisive representation of darkness, skimming through Techno, Industrial, syncopated rhythms and noir atmospheres; 
Voicedrone, FOLD. founder in London, true analogue warrior and bastion of the European rave culture ensure a powerful closing of this release. 

"Sonic Textures" is the turbulent, dissonant voice speaking for eccentric artists with different influences and backgrounds. 
The fourth Various Artists Compilation presented by Syncretism gathers together several composition approaches, bringing a new paradigm of sonic textures and unexpected arrangements.
