Following the release of Indonesian experimental duo Senyawa new album “Alkisah”, les ateliers claus and Kiosk Radio are proud to present "Alkisah" REMIXED. 

The Brussels-based projects are proud to invite Sugai Ken (Japan), Céline Gillain (Belgium), Sagat (Belgium), Tolouse Low Trax (Germany), Dntel (USA) and Front de Cadeaux (Italy/Belgium) to reshape ‘Alkisah’ stories. Through this eclectic selection of artists, Les Ateliers Claus and Kiosk Radio aim to bring a variety of musical genres and shine a different and surprising light on Senyawa’s compositional works. Going from a musique-concrète approach, towards dub, experimental club and dance floor bangers, the Remix LP highlights the timelessness of Senyawa's music. 

Senyawa's Alkisah was co-released a few weeks ago by 44 independent record labels from all over the globe, in an attempt to decentralise the hierarchical workings of the music industry and its distribution system. Each label partner was given "carte blanche” on artwork, promotion, packaging and number of copies released. The labels involved were also encouraged to include remixes from local artists, leading to hundreds of reinterpretations around the world.

Sounds From NoWhere is pleased to premiere a new Viels' gem on 'End of Perception'.

End of Perception is a Berlin-based techno label co-owned by Viels and Francesco Della Sata, which has featured music by Takaaki Itoh, Ness, Brendon Moeller, Deepbass, and ORBE, amongst others.

Providing the next EP titled 'Destino,' the label head Viels showcases four new and original works.

Originating from near Milan, Viels is an experienced DJ and producer who has played all around Europe alongside DVS1, DJ Nobu, Setaoc Mass, Steve Bicknell, and many more, while also holding a residency at the Acquario event in Milan.

His standout production style has graced imprints such as Bas Mooy's Mord, Oscar Mulero's Warm Up, Psyk's Non Series, Svreca's Semantica, and Edit Select Records, as well as his appearances on End of Perception, and includes collaboration releases with fellow Italian, Pyramidal Decode.

"Movimento Tellurico" has a more upbeat sound yet covered in mystery. Sparse sweeps, bubbling textures, and delayed cymbals create a perfect melting pot of an alluring dystopian aura.

Here comes the second release of BRVTAL, another split, but this time focusing on the local scene of the label. Because we put together two defining figures of the contemporary techno scene in Budapest, AGA2L and Adam Krasz.

AGA2L is a member and co-founder of BRVTAL and this will be his first release on his own imprint. He started his activity in the scene as a DJ for a while now and he became an unavoidable figure of it in the last few years. Maybe not too many people knew, but he started making music almost the same time as he's playing vinyls, but until the beginning of 2020, he didn't share anything. First track of him came out earlier this year on a charity compilation for Gólya by Dalmata Daniel label. This song is already guessed what will be his way as a producer. Yes, nothing surprising, his own music style is not far from his taste of music as a DJ. Cruel darkness of sound with heavy bass, noisey industrial vibe and banging drums as we may experience it on his side of BRV002.

Adam Krasz is a Hungarian musician, sound and media artist currently doing his PhD in Sound Art at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art in Budapest and also a member of Műhely. As an artist he mostly works with video and sound, exploring and documenting the environment of the modern human. In his dance music works he brings together the harsh, noise-filled sounds of modular synthesisers with the endless, soulless looping of the current digital age. This contradiction manifests in two heavy hitting techno tracks on the second release of BRVTAL.

Carnalist is an electronic music collective and label based in Istanbul. The scene is not developed here as much as in Europe, the UK, or the US but there are a lot of blooming producers at the moment. In their first release, they tried to promote the local talents who have a wide variety of styles as well as there are international artists in the Convergence VA album.

Grinding Like Nobody by Slope Unit is a groovy track with loads of claps which will keep you dancing throughout the whole piece. Melodic line is simple but at the same time engaging and powerful.
