This track was sent to me by Yannick Pozo Vento, aka Réelle, who was a dear friend of mine and who unfortunately passed away in 2018. I always kept it as a treasure. This track means the world to me and I believe Yannick once said that this is their favourite piece they have ever produced. It was up on their SoundCloud once but disappeared very quickly. I never knew what I wanted to do with it. I still don't know. It felt like alot of pressure, but I now decided to upload it here because I think it needs to be out there for people to listen. I hope you will treat it with respect. 

Lilith is a figure and symbol of feminism and femme sexual liberation. However, in medieval Europe, she was often portrayed as the wife, concubine, or grandmother of Satan. She is best known as the first wife of Adam, who she demanded equality with and, failing to get it, left in anger. The numerical value of Lilith’s name equals the Hebrew word for “screech.” Thus, Lilith is the “Demon of screeching” and “the princess of screeching” and is personified as a screech owl. Astrologically speaking, she represents the power and desire that's hidden within us like our deep arousals, instincts, and dark (sometimes uncomfortable) truths.

I always considered this one Réelle's masterpiece. It's very different from their other releases and works with their signature graphic synthesized, theremin like sound, that weeps alongside a pizzicato cello - creating a serious atmosphere of strength and glory accompanied by a notion that for me just sounds and feels like pride in both a femme appearance and experience. Like a femme figure with 10 inch heels walking up a huge spiral staircase out of glas, leaving behind and looking down on what only could be described as patriarchy.
