Uplink (UK) brings us a four-track statement of intent on the 'Backrooms EP' - a hard-hitting dive into the shadowy corners of tech-driven Jump Up Drum & Bass. This collection is precision-crafted for late-night systems, loaded with stripped-back menace, militant energy, and sub-heavy groove 🔥

The title track ‘Backrooms’ teams Uplink with Manchester’s lyrical heavyweight Diligent Fingers, delivering a dystopian soundscape of glitched-out atmospheres, razor-sharp breaks and soul-rooted storytelling. ‘Code Denied’ follows with surgical detail - a steely, mechanical roller built for warehouse floors and dark headphone sessions alike. On ‘Infiltrator’, Uplink taps into covert jump-up territory with stuttering bass hits and stealth-mode energy, while ‘Liquidators’ closes the set with cold precision - pure minimal weight and calculated intent 😮‍💨
