Raving wasn’t always my thing but as I was introduced to techno and dived deeper into the faster, harder and darker side of the genre I found hearing particular sounds and rhythms quite addicting. The adrenaline, expression, competition, the challenge are all the things that have me hooked as well as my love for music. Raving for me in a nutshell is about the intense energy and atmosphere particular moments of everything to do with rave can inflict, moments you will find in no other leisure.

💥 Inspired by Kobosil, Bsls, 6EJOU, Raxeller & LS41, Japau synthesises the dark, hard and industrial techno sounds. His style is distinguished by driving and pushing baselines boosted by hard kicks & impulsive vibes. 

⚔️ Having the first debut in the Netherlands in 2019, Japau has shared the stage with international artists such as Cassie Raptor, WNDRLST, ORGIE, Svetec and many more. Having stepped in the professional techno industry, he can no longer imagine his life without it.
