Fairplay drop three remix versions of Latlal on their latest release from Zatar Music.  

The original appeared on Phonique’s new label in August, and now the Jordanian duo called in some big guns to add a spin to one of the tracks of 2022. 

First up is Hyenah, a resident of Watergate’s famed RISE afro house parties. The main version balances the incredible vocals of Mariem Hassan with shuffling beats and a driving groove that draws from across the African continent and beyond. With releases on Freerange, Rise Music and Watergate Records Hyenah created his own signature sound over the past years and released his debut album 'Love In Time Of Crisis' in 2022.

The instrumental gives more space for the production to shine - definitely one for the DJs. 

Additionally the Spada remix brings in a melodic tech-house element to the track, further widening the reach of Fairplay’s essential original. Spada just founded his own label Ultimo Paradiso and gained attention with his releases on Diynamic, Anjunabeat, Armada and Stil vor Talent.

Stephan Jolk returns to Watergate, following his sublime ‘Sleeping Beauty’ EP.
 
The Italian artist is a master at soundtracking transcendental dancefloor experiences, with a beautiful body of work to his name, highlighted by a string of releases on Watergate Records, Rukus, Afterlife, Rose Avenue, Upperground, and most lately Embassy One with his collaboration with Monolink. His latest opus is prime for glistening sunset sessions and early morning raves alike, as a delicate bed of drums, emotion-charged strings and the soaring vocals of braev light up the night’s sky. Although it's not possible to be with all of you at the moment, we're still able to communicate through our music. We are delighted to share our new Song 'Home' with you, a collective effort from Delhia de France, Marino Canal and us.

As Marino had multiple appearances on Siamese Records like 'A Fire in the Sun' or 'Dreamt of Tomorrow' and we've already worked successfully with Delhia de France in the past on 'Tachykardia' from our debut album 'Nude' as well as our much-loved remix for her track 'Tremors :Nemesis', it seemed inevitable to work on a track all together.

Delhia had originally written 'Home' as a song creating an ambiance that beautifully resembles the feeling of stillness. "It's about someone scared of true intimacy running away from themself, but being seen by the other person who is offering a safe space, a home in the moment. With what we are is experiencing right now, many people are faced with a sudden stillness and it's hard for a lot of us to deal with it. Being forced to really be with oneself, in solitude" Delhia says.

The world hit pause and we had to re-evaluate our patterns of behavior, re-think life, re-appreciate the things that, too often, go unnoticed and most of all face our own fears. It could teach us that the true home lies in the moment. It's the safest place to be, where no fear exists, as there is no need for the past nor the future.
