Dance music superstar Boris Brejcha has unveiled his hotly anticipated new album Never Stop Dancing, out on 26th November which is also the masked legends Birthday.
  
A twelve-track release, Never Stop Dancing features no fewer than five tracks released as singles across the year. First up is ‘Spicy’, a track that combines driving snares and delicate piano chords with the fleeting vocals of Boris’ real-life partner Ginger. She appears regularly throughout the LP, first on July single ‘Take A Ride’, a meticulously refined techno cut centred around euphoric breakdowns and a pulsating bassline, then on the impulsive, rhythmic techno of the title track, Boris’ most recent single.
Further singles come in the form of ‘House Music’, a collaboration with London pop trio Arctic Lake that pairs feelgood melodies with high-pitched vocals, and ‘Twisted Reality’, which features the kind of euphoric breakdowns only the German maestro could pull off.
Elsewhere, Ginger’s vocoder vocals return amidst the haunting, brooding synths of ‘State Of Mind’ and the potent, trance-inspired big room energy of ‘Underworld’, before the steady kick drum thumps and emotional breakdowns ensure Never Stop Dancing closes out on a moving note.
One of the hardest working artists in the electronic sphere, Boris has already released three EPs this year, ‘Vodka & Orange’, ‘Matrix’ and ‘EXIT’, while in 2020 he dropped acclaimed album Space Diver.
Emerging onto the scene with the double EP release of Monster and Yellow Kitchen back in 2006, Brejcha has spent the years since developing his own style of music, coined as ‘High-Tech Minimal’.
A diverse, dancefloor-focused collection of tracks, Never Stop Dancing is the work of an artist who continues to challenge himself with every release.

As a precursor to his upcoming &#8220;Intensity&#8221; album on Tronic, Eric Sneo offers us this prerelease with one album track and two remixes of &#8220;Move On&#8221;, another favorite of ours from 2013. 
 Eric&#8217;s own remix of &#8220;Move On&#8221; is up first, with the main riff updated to the max, mutating and growing. The rocksteady rhythm section provides a more straightforward approach to its predecessor, leaving the familiar, manic snares to raise the suspense levels. Mendo takes it from there and flips the track completely on its head, leaving just mere fragments pointing to the original, while organic, shuffling drums and quirky percussion lead the way. 
 Sealing the deal is &#8220;Metanoia&#8221;, taken straight from the imminent full-length release. A metallic riff dominates most of the track and blends seamlessly with scratchy effects and arpeggios looming from a melodic distance.

Eric Sneo&#8217;s hit &#8220;Metanoia&#8221; gets updated and first up is a beefed-up version with an assortment of effects and tasty synth action injected into it. Pig &amp; Dan have taken over for the remix, and opt for a completely different approach, employing intricate percussion and crackling highs into their shuffling groove. Focusing on the main theme, the boys bring out their loopy sensibilities and let the melody shine, courtesy of their sparse arrangement and subliminal bassline.

Ever in search of an even-better environment to make music in, Joris Voorn has been hard at work this year constructing a new studio space near his home in Amsterdam. Having only very recently been completed, Joris immediately went to add the finishing touches on his next single in his new natural habitat. 'Genova' is the result, and its been well worth the wait.

A nagging techy beat with a funky undertone drives this infectious track, with monotone synth rhythms subtly rising from the depths to create tense pressure. Moments of teasing intensity increase the drama, before a beautiful arpeggiated melody unfolds and with it brings a sorrowful chord progression. The bass follows in tandem as we head towards a sparse breakdown which strips things down to the bare minimum. A lengthy snare build recalls classic trance as the synths pulse and swell, with a hooky vocal snippet announcing the drop. After some more of that juicy groove, an extended ambient outro provides an atmospheric, heavenly ending.

'Genova' has been heavily road-tested by Joris, featuring in all his sets over the summer and it has received huge reactions whenever played. It seems like his new studio has added a touch of magic to it, and we can all look forward to much more material coming out of it very soon indeed.
