Southern Lights celebrates its 5th anniversary with the first of two EP’s showcasing various artists titled “Charged Particles”. Charged particles is a metaphor taken from the Aurora Australis wonder, where charged particles from the sun enter the atmosphere on the poles and create the Aurora phenomenon.

Creating the sonically charged particles for Volume 1 are 18 Figures, Cliche Morph, Bastian Balders and Shoal: a unified course that traverses across glacial textures, metallic soundscapes and sonic expeditions.

Crescent London is a new deep & hypnotic techno label centred on ambient textures and dub elements. For the label launch, the London-based collective put together a 13 track 'Various Artists' compilation of some of their favourite producers. Named "Magnetic Fields", the V/A is focusing on electric atmospheres and textures, locking the listener deep in the groove and the hypnosis. From drone and euphoric atmospheres to detailed broken-techno, the compilation displays a textured view on contemporary techno, elegant and mental, yet ready for the clubs to re-open.

Founded by renowned Portuguese techno producer A Thousand Details (aka ATD) in 2020, Collective Details is a label project showcasing the work of the online community formed from ATD’s Discord server and twitch stream. The focus of the community is to allow members to learn, exchange feedback and inspire each other. The resulting works are then curated to present the best work, showcasing how artists old and new come together to grow and widen their musical horizons. From music production to mastering, artwork, management and promotion, all releases truly are works of the community.

The debut release is 2 EPs, New Beginnings Part 1 & 2. Priority release on Bandcamp and Formaviva will commence on 25/01/2021, with a general release following in all major digital stores on 31/01/2021.

The tracks selected are the result of the first community challenge: do an original track with samples created on ATD’s Twitch stream using the new Mutable Instruments Blades filter in December 2020

The first release of Collective Details, a new label project by A Thousand Details focusing only on the work of the people who hang on ATD Discord Server and Twitch Stream. Based upon monthly challenges for the Discord Members, the ideology behind the project is to boost creativity, collaboration, share knowledge and offer chances and launch new artists (but not only) on to the world so people know their work. Plus the most important thing is that all these releases are made and tailored by the discord community user. From Mastering, Artwork, Management, Promo and of course the Music. 

The firsts installments are 2 split VA with all the participants on the challenge: to do an original track with samples that were made while A Thousand Details was streaming on Twitch the new Mutable Instruments Blades filter back in December. The results couldn't be more amazing with a variety of styles and absolute commitment and passion to this project. Sometimes a chance is all it's needed to elevate one's creativity and will to finish projects and succeed in the music world. Everyone is welcome to participate as long as you are willing to join our discord and hang around.
