SAAH

London-based West Walian SAAH is new to the game, but on the face of it this isn’t a reasonable conclusion. Since erupting onto the scene with a destructive electro entity released via Typeless, his tracks have been supported by an abundance of cream-of-the-crop DJs like Bicep, Identified Patient, Umwelt and Darwin. More recently he has been tapped up by labels like Kouncil Cuts, Dionysian Mysteries and Yin Yang as well as the influential FOLD London for a recent livestream that brought his face melters to an even wider assemblage.

Casting a wide net and taking inspiration from a variety of sources spanning Electro, Breaks, Techno and Dubstep, SAAH’s style encapsulates the best of the old and new. The cascading, heavy-hitting rawness continues to impress with ease and the upward trajectory he’s charted unquestionably needs to have its gradient updated for the dizzying heights.

Our next guest is a 22-year-old Bournemouth based lad. For lack of a better term, who attests his musical adventures to his very early beginnings at the age of 14, experimenting different sounds under many aliases. And it was not until 2019, that he affirmed his current moniker that he uses today. 

He used the pandemic constructively to expand his already vast library. His signed releases were getting plays on prominent platforms from a diverse range of DJs. Including the likes of Prospa; Mall Grab; DJ Seinfeld; My Nu Leng; I hate Models; Dave Clarke and B.Traits, amongst many more. 

And once restrictions started easing, he continuously strives towards his lifelong dream of playing his music around the world. Just this year, he has already enjoyed headline shows in France, Ireland, Manchester, and a few London dates. And looks forward to Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic. All whilst negotiating a very prosperous 2023.

"ATM" (Automated Terror Machine) is a production/DJ duo based in Tokyo, originally hailing from Boston. Their roots are in house & garage, having several releases under the name “Synare” before branching out into electro, ghettotech, and techno. Their debut Power House EP is out now on Philthtrax, with more material on the way for 2023. The pair originally moved to Japan to teach, but ended up staying for good. Now firmly rooted in Tokyo’s electronic music scene, they’ve been bringing their new sound to some of the city’s most noteworthy venues and parties.

Their Nativecast mix is slammed with acid-laden, percussive electro that builds into high octane techno and jungle towards the finish. Skip the coffee and listen to this mix instead.
