Being one of those tracks you just can't get out of your head, and also a big Sherlock fan, I thought I'd have a bash at doing my own mix of 'The Game Is On', composed by David Arnold and Michael Price.  :-)

This is my first full-length remix, feedback/shares/likes/constructive criticism is always very welcome...as I'm just starting out and literally don't have much of a clue what I'm doing!  Produced this track with Garageband, a few months before I got my hands on Ableton Live.

Delectation is my first solo composition.  Delectation means 'humorous', or 'pleasure and delight', which I thought went pretty well with the music.  

This track was composed entirely in Ableton Live Suite 9.

Orchestronic (Instrumental) - Work In Progress

A mix I've been playing about with for a few days, from the Mr. Robot soundtrack by Mac Quayle.  Melody is by Mac Quayle, all other parts are my addition.  Any and all comments & critique would be much appreciated!

Update: increased volume of strings to ensure they sit better in the mix.

Mr Robot - Orchestral Fusion Remix

Progress so far on my additions to Detlaff's Music Box from The Witcher 3 game.  Added second melody with the music box and tightened up the EQ on the strings...happy with the progress made so far :-)  Still very much a work in progress though!

Witcher 3 - Dettlaff's Music Box - Work In Progress

The soundscape recorded during the launch of the hybrid fuel ferry Glen Sannox, at the Ferguson Marine yard in Port Glasgow, Scotland. The initial sounds are the ferry being 'made ready' for launch, followed by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon naming the ferry, and the launch itself.

The making ready phase has been edited down to make it shorter, as has the pause between the naming and the launch.

Recorded with a Zoom H4n portable recorder, using the built-in stereo condenser mics.

Glen Sannox Ferry Launch - 21st November 2017

Ludovico Einaudi made the stems for 'Night' freely available to remix.  This is my interpretation so far, which remains a work in progress.  Some of the percussive sounds have been sampled from my soundscape recording of the Glen Sannox ferry launch.  Any constructive criticism or critiques are more than welcome!

A soundscape recording of the birds' dawn chorus outside my house in Auchterarder at 5:50am this morning.  The air was perfectly still with no wind, and perfect for recording!  Recorded at 96kHz/24 bit - headphones recommended :-)

A soundscape recorded in Daliburgh, South Uist, on a windy day during a recent trip to the Outer Hebrides.

You can hear the wind whistling through the grass, and the local birds calling occasionally.

Like a landmark, a soundmark is a sound unique to a specific location. This is a Harris Tweed loom at the Gearrannan Village museum on Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides.

During a crossing from Stornaway to Uig on the 17th of September 2018 aboard Caledonian MacBrayne's MV Hebrides, the weather closed in and reduced visibility, requiring the Hebrides to regularly sound the horn to warn other ships in the area of its location.

Soay Sheep are one of the most primitive breeds of sheep, from which all domestic sheep are descended - originally found on the island of Soay, a flock was rounded up and moved to the nearby island of Hirta in the St Kilda archipelago. They are the subject of ongoing research primarily run by the University of Edinburgh and Imperial College London.
