Black Lake explains his EP, Transmission Control is Black Lakes debut release on the Occhiolism Label. The EP follows humanities search for a new home as it's own planet dies.

Our journey begins with Reception, opening with light strings marking the vision of a new horizon and slowly building with light undertones groove as we pull away from home.

This is followed by The Sound of The Shell, a pulsating atmospheric track with swelling strings and pads marking a final goodbye and entrance into the unknown.

As we move deeper into space we enter Transmission Control, a fast moving driving track marked by slow builds and fast breaks.

Finally, arrival at Rotel, drawn-out strings and slow pads mark the sound of our arrival at yet another dead planet and a return to space.

We welcome Occhiolism Resident Pasşenğer as our first honored guest.

Pasşenğer is not only Part of the Occhiolism team but represents a selective taste both in our family and on the local club circuit. He believes:

We are all passengers to a greater reality; in life we live through music to better understand ourselves and our place in this vast universe. Thus becoming the musical passenger to a cinematic conclusion of diverse morphing atmospheres and looming thunders of reality, becoming subjective to movement and progression. Allowing oneself to be transported through a vast world of sound, experiencing a plethora of emotions, complete euphoria and a deeper understanding. 

The alias Pasşenğer is not only a name but a reality of all our sequential order to a divine musical freedom.

We welcome forthcoming Occhiolism artist Fac3less as our third honored guest on the Occhiolism Presents: The Finger Series.

Fac3less was born in Greece, raised in Athens at the dawn of the new millennia he witnessed firsthand the age of rave and electronic music as it grew and evolved, always looking for innovative combinations of unique electronic sounds that exalt the mind, the spirit and the soul. 

Fac3less opens the gateway to the obscure side of techno through dynamic sound and chaotic illusionary atmospheres by the use of rhythmic percussions and hypnotic elements, he manages to deliver a characteristic feeling whether it is happiness, sadness or even rage.

Known for his resonant full-bodied DJ sets which include a variety of genres acquired after many years of musical pilgrimage. He has shared the decks with producers such as Dax J, Charlotte De Witte, Deepbass and is set to join our Occhiolism family later this year with a 4 track masterpiece.
