Whilst single handedly mutating X-Y-Z  chromosome disco genes (not as easy as the A-B-C or the 1-2-3 ones!), he has created a new form of ass-kicking subsonic tech-funk, one that is highly volatile and unable to remain stable at all times when reproduced through a loud PA system! The noticeable difference music lovers and musicians have noticed with 'Black Body music' is that it is not only more beautiful and harmonious to the ears, but it also induces a more inward experience that is felt inside the body and along the spine. 'Other music' was felt as a more outward and mental experience, and felt at the side of the head, which projected outwards. insignificant Others are dropping their ‘All I Wanna Be / Need U Want U’ EP on OCD Records this June.

Comprised of Nick McCall and Dave Robinson, the duo met 15 years ago before working together from 2002 as a DJ/production outfit. Each brings an individual flair to the studio – Nick possesses the musical knowledge plus an unhealthy obsession with vintage synths, whereas Dave has the ears and engineering know-how to bring it all together.

Their debut single ‘It’s Me’ garnered substantial praise, even featuring on Groove Armada’s ‘Doin’ It After Dark’ mix compilation, whilst their follow up single
‘Use My X’ was championed by the likes of Pete Tong and Basement Jaxx.

‘All I Wanna Be’ kick starts proceedings with a heady hook and high-pitched vocals before ushering in an exultant injection of breakbeat. The vibe starts off moodier in ‘Need U Want U’ courtesy of its fuzzy lead until a looped vox and charismatic synths flow in and out to provide an element of elation.

Music as we know it today has fallen into the wrong hands of certain human beings. This 'noise' is an attempt to stop us from being able to expand our minds. There are unfriendly frequencies and disharmonious vibrations all around us. They can create anxiety and fear in all of us.  Sounds, when used for extremely negative purposes, have the potential to create devastation beyond our imagination. A 'vibration war' is upon us, and most of us don’t even know it.

Our only hope to save us from these destructive vibrations comes in the form of Black Body. Out of nowhere and on a mission to re-tune and align us with the natural vibrations of the Universe. Black Body have the power to absorb all the negative surrounding energy and then release tones and sounds of love, enlightenment and inner harmony. 

Black Body have restored peace and order by tuning their guitars and synths to the exact frequency used by genetic biochemists to repair broken DNA – the genetic blueprint upon which life is based. They have succeeded in their quest of delivering 'the perfect sound'. Music is not just for our ears, music is for our souls. We are all energy; money and status are meaningless distractions; authenticity of feeling is paramount; embrace love, not fear. 

The Black Body must descend to another planet but they leave us with a mantra from the prophet Bill Hicks that will continue to work us towards rediscovering our potential.

As 'the vibration war' rages on, an overcrowded Earth relies on research conducted by scientists in remote stations across the solar system. One of these, a small experimental research station on the planet Nibiru, is run solely by the insignificant Others. Their mission is to monitor the use of the Silent Sound Spread Spectrum and other government frequency weapon systems. These systems are capable of producing destructive tones into millions of watts straight into the ionosphere, directly into our homes, and through all of us.  

 iO1 and iO2 have been isolated on Nibiru for several years and to avoid going crazy on 'noise' duty they have been supplied with the hypnotic drug 'blue dreamer'. Under the influence of the disco-techy 'blue dreamer', it is possible to unravel and understand these tones and take us deeper and further on our path of transcendence.   

The government are convinced that the iOs are very close to 'aborting time' so have sent in a psychotic but glitched-up robot called W.A.F.E to kidnap and replace them. W.A.F.E. is powered by vibrations extracted from everyday microwave ovens, HDTVs, wireless routers, cellular phones and basically every text message we send and receive.   

 Will the iOs have enough time to block out these deliberately harmful tones thus releasing us all to mental, emotional, and sensory awareness or will the robots overpower the humans and start running tings.
