OCEANDEEP is a songwriting duo from Geelong and the Surfcoast.

With backgrounds in rock bands, vocal ensembles, theatre, jewelry making, poetry, print media, radio and a variety of other creative pursuits, Martin Fawkes and Kristel Rae began a songwriting  collaboration in late-2010, compiling a catalogue of wry, perceptive, darkly humorous, sometimes sad and cathartic songs exploring various facets of the human condition. 

2014 saw an end to demoing for its own sake, and as OCEANDEEP they entered the recording studio with producer/engineer David Carr to prepare some of their work for the wider public. 

IT’S OVER is OCEANDEEP’S first foray into the wild, with more to come.
