inspired by a Tribe Called Quest, MF DOOM, Madlib, and mousam.

the art is by Mori Yūzan, a Japanese artist from Kyoto, who created a design project in 1903 called Hamonshu. It has various wave and ripple designs made to be used on swords, ceramics, or as tattoos. the cover art for the beattape is one of these drawings.
