My buddy and I hammered this one out using an MPC 1000, Korg miniSynth and Garageband within about an hour (including edits and arranging).  Just a short sample track but figured it was worth posting since I've been so negligent about putting up new tunes as of late...

Thieving on Thievery

1st attempt at a drum n bass track (with a little inspiration from burial).  Def heavy on the bass so headphones (or external computer speakers) are ideal.  Still waiting to do vocals so this will have to do in the meantime...

instrumental take on an old loop i finally turned into a song.  not the final version (so feedback is welcome) but i figured it was worth putting on the intertubes for the meantime...  another big bass track so use those headphones or good speakers to get the most out of it.

So, there is a tone on my Korg mini synth that sounds like a robot language and i have been wanting to use it in a song somehow.  Then I heard an Art Bell interview on Coast to Coast AM regarding ancient technology and sampled a couple sound bites and inserted them in.  Voila!  Song about robots.  Because, why not...
