SKR aka Baptiste is from Namur, a city in Belgium where two rivers (called the Sambre and the Meuse) blend together. In the same way water flows in unison, SKR's mix brings together incredibly deep jungle and drum and bass into one beautiful cascade. We used to throw parties together back in the 2000s, so we are delighted that our paths crossed again after all this time. Baptiste is a true believer who's been digging deeply for more than 25 years. The bottomless archive of his radio shows and mixes dives into many styles, all mixed together deftly and purely. He's a modest underground cat, hiding between shadow and light, somewhere at the confluence of two rivers...

For our 10th blossy tale, we are thrilled to share with you the sounds of Carly Zeng, the Chinese born selector that has really caught our attention lately with her effortless flow and sick selection. For her blossy tale, she really demonstrates why she is one of our favourites through her classy selection shaped by her passion for the unheard and elusive, whether it be trance, breaks or electro. 

Currently based in Berlin but formerly New York and having been exposed to those scenes at a young age, it is no wonder that her sound is so eclectic and flowy. We could not be more happy to share with you the sounds of this pure talent, and hope it will bring joy and a sense of love and freedom, on this summer where festivals are finally happening again. We can't wait to see you on the dancefloor and hope to catch Carly somewhere soon as well. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy her blossy tale. ❤

Officially hit the six year marker today, here's another mix with a bit more 'boots & cats' ranging from trance, techno & ambient. A few updates below...

Proud to say that I am in the works of finalizing the first vinyl release for the channel, which will include four past uploads (more on those to be announced in the future). But can say some of the uploads were well sought after so it will be nice to see them on wax/be reissued and I am sure it will make many happy.

Secondly, I have put down a deposit to purchase a collection of about 4-6 thousand records that came from an old record store. Luckily it was specifically electronic music from the 90s/00's, which as you know is what I am after. I still do not know the exact number but will update on Instagram/Facebook when they are purchased (expecting these mid to end of September). I will also finally activate the Discogs page so I can start selling from that collection as well as from previous collections. 

Lastly, in order to partially fund both the vinyl release & collection purchase, I have made some merchandise (hats/bucket hats/shirts/slip mats) that I will put up for sale for any of those who would like to purchase some/fund upcoming projects. 

I appreciate everyone who has supported the channel these past few years and hope everyone is enjoying what is left of the summer. I look forward to updating you all in the upcoming weeks on the vinyl release, collection, & merch, enjoy! :)
