OverClocked ReMix is proud to announce our latest feature: automated mixing & mastering of all remixes on the site, and any future submissions as well! Using the latest advances in machine learning and artificial intelligence, and following on the foundation of services like LANDR, we've developed an algorithm that addresses volume, noise, and dynamics for a refined listening experience.

- For listeners, this means a more consistent experience when listening to multiple mixes in a playlist, and enjoying pristine, high-fidelity audio.
- For artists, it means never having to worry about mixing & mastering ANYTHING you submit to OCR - we'll do the work for you!

How does it work??

The GRO/INR algorithm has two essential components/phases:

1. Gain Redistribution & Optimization - ensures that levels are consistent from mix to mix without compromising dynamic contrast.
2. Intelligent Noise Reduction - eliminates hum, hiss, and other artifacts that can harm recordings.

Made a new genre because why not, all the cool kids are doing it. I call it futurebit, since adding future to a genre is so hot right now.

To everyone expecting chiptune, I hope you can forgive me that I skipped into a different genre for a while. I already learned so much from switching and if I make chip again (I think I will), I believe it will profit massively from my sidequest. (Aww sidequest, that's a kickass song name. Next track will be called sidequest! But pssst, k plz.)

My contribution to The Sound of SceneSat Volume 6.

Using only hardware synths (and some drum and SID samples) I set out to make an all «analog» tune, using nothing but good old gear and keeping things retro. Apart from some drum samples and SID samples played by my Roland S770, 760 and such, all sounds are from old 80s and 90s synths. All Roland MKS, JX-3P, D-50, TR-707, Yamaha SY, TX, Ensoniq TS, SD, Fizmo, AKAI S612 and so on. All effects are external too, PCM-70, REV7, BigSky, DP/4+, TC 2290 and so on.
