About Rodrigo:

Rodrigo Garcia is a DJ and producer born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Inspired by the Detroit sound of the 80s, he began experimenting with IDM sounds, always keeping in mind the Techno. Once established in Barcelona, he develops his ideas and concepts for music. Currently this dj / producer, has different facets and with different distinctions for each project. His music is best described as an intersection of Techno and its variants.

This mix includes tracks by Imugem Orihasam, Benvol, DJ Surgeles, Squaric, Saphileaum, Diffuse Reality and more.

Altone's 'Ground Surface' is the brand new Greyscale addition to its top tier Mood Series. Altone is back with his fourth installment and this one packs a punch! The title track is a bruiser! Featuring long delays of granular chords and wall shaking bass frequencies, it's sure to please the veterans of the dub techno experience. 'Diffused Reflection' is well balanced in minimalism that is as equally spatial as it is catchy. Classic dub sounds and very DJ friendly! Perhaps saving the deepest for last, Altone brings us 'Elementary Particle' which is a mid-tempo churner that hypnotizes! It rides a broad rhythmic pattern underlying a constant force field of static resistance. This EP has it all! Three excursions that showcases Altone is a true talent in the field. Greyscale Mood Series #24 is another showstopper!

Elementary Particle

This one is sort of an unconventional mix consisting of some rather weird tracks that might not be considered 'dance music' in the traditional sense, but hopefully are pieced together in a way that makes a cohesive mix that could be danced to if one were so inclined :). After a three-year hiatus, Mindwaves Music awakens from hibernation and is rebooting with a brand new compilation called “Pnyø”.
Eleven exclusive and previously unreleased tracks, carefully chosen by the labels in-house artist Matilde Møller aka P(h)onyCat, merging between genres such as Ambient, Electronica, Leftfield, IDM and Glitch.

The selected tunes may be diverse in tempo and timbre, but the underlying feeling is melancholic, and imaginative - poetic and delicate. 
Even if "Pnyø" could be characterized as peculiar in part, instead of opting for the obvious straightforward expression, the release comes in an overall laid back vibe, which was compiled for your listening pleasure at home.
