The mysterious artist released his new work 'The Forbidden EP' under the alter ego ^L_, a product of his complex mind.

The artist immerses the listener in the chaos of sounds with the first track of his EP “The Forbidden”, released by Insane Industry Recordings, 'Making Music to End My Social Life'. An aggressive hard techno track. He launches into complex soundscapes with fast-paced gabber and digital hardcore influences.

Widely acclaimed across the world for his diverse musical palette and relentless beats, his music has received acclaim from the likes of @mixmag @djmagofficial @noisey & more.

The work of ^L_ (real name Luis Fernando) has been described as almost scary, but attractive. disturbing, uncomfortably pleasant, and even weird. His works have been released by labels from Berlin, London, Tokyo and more. Influenced by IDM giants such as Aphex Twin and Autechre, ^L_ also shows old school knowledge by referencing hard and acid techno, industrial music,  darkwave, and cyberpunk culture. All this range of influences expressed in a cohesive and contemporaneous way. The artist explores winding paths through the darkness of the EBM. Add dirty breakbeats, horror movie lines, electric laser beams. Industrial beat elements that tick like clockwork as life swings amidst automated daily duties and emotional experiences. Danish producer, DJ, and label owner of Unique Sound Records, Tækno Jens, began his musical journey as a teenager by releasing music on record labels. Today, he has established himself as a prominent figure in Aalborg's underground scene.

For this mix, Tækno Jens show his expertise by  blending various sub-genres of techno, ranging from the hypnotic to the heavy, while infusing a sporty vibe with synths and integrating his own tracks. This live recording was captured during Markant's event on October 20th in Aalborg.

Hailing from the Southern Hemisphere’s techno hotspot Melbourne, New Zealand born Samari has been rocking dance floors for almost 10 years. Playing alongside some of the biggest names in techno throughout this time. Well know for his high pressure DJ sets, Samari brings a raw dystopian, technical and sometimes abrasive approach. His Audio - Video sets have been eye catching to say the least, adding a dark narrative element to an all ready dynamic sound – Created, cut, stolen and built by the artist and performed using Serato Video, his AV sets enable the full story to be seen and heard simultaneously in his shows. Since 2012 Samari has been based in the home of modern techno – Berlin. 

During which time he has seen the release of his Debut EP “Termin’” on Coffee AM Records, performed both DJ and AV sets across Europe while transmitting his show Construct Radio out of Budapest and online through his affiliated label Art Style Techno. 2015 saw the release of his Advance EP on Art Style Techno records, to high acclaim with a follow up remix on Paroxysm Records for Hallion.

Samari is currently based in New Zealand working on new releases, building the techno scene in his home country and avoiding the upcoming armageddon taking hold of the world currently. He recently played the Z-Day Festival in Brisbane, performing a live AV soundscape set.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, the city rapidly became more connected and culturally diverse than ever. For such a small space the city of Berlin holds enormous musical creativity evolving from all 4 corners of the European landscape.
