Daisy Cutter merges her classical music background with a fearless approach to electronic sound, weaving techno with house, trancey tech house, bass, breaks, and experimental cuts. She’s a resident at Warsaw’s Jasna 1 with her Wild at Heart series, co-founder of Radio Kapital, and active in community and charity projects like FLAUTA. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and performance researcher, she explores the performative and social side of club culture. Her sets have taken her from Poland’s top clubs and festivals like Up To Date and Audioriver to international debuts at about:blank, RSO, Ankali, Garage Noord, KHIDI, and Left Bank, with appearances across Brussels, Iceland, and Slovakia, plus guest spots on Kiosk, Mutant, NOODS, Rinse France and Refuge Worldwide.

Pure Tool is a Ukranian label with several releases under its belt having featured artists like Incorrect Waves, Cvrdwell, Danilenko, and Alex Schultz.

Andrey Sirotkin is an experienced producer who lists supporters such as Richie Hawtin, Maceo Plex, and Joris Voorn. Owning Vyrii Records and co-owning Cyclic Numbers, his back catalogue also includes Marc Romboy’s Systematic, I-Robots Opilec Music, and Diffuse Reality.

For this DT:Premiere we selected “This Hell Is My Home” with a vintage, moody and minimal sound. Swirling modular tones are met with crackling percussion and a dystopian vibe, the crunching claps add a suitable funk to the raw, mechanical groove.

Techno is a family affair.

Arriving onto the electronic scene with "I Believe", featured on the monumental (10 Records) compilation "Techno 2: The Next Generation" (alongside Carl Craig, Marc Kinchen, and Jay Denham) in 1990, Octave One is the brainchild of the phenomenal native sons of Detroit, MI (USA), the Burden Brothers. The core unit of the band, made up of Lenny and Lawrence Burden (with revolving members of Lynell, Lorne, and Lance Burden), have had the privilege of bringing their high energy live shows to many parts of the world, including Australia, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, UK, and the USA, among many other places.

The brothers have released groundbreaking dance anthems on their own Detroit based record label, 430 West Records. Including DJ Rolando's "Jaguar", Random Noise Generation's "Falling in Dub" (the other Burden brother moniker), Aux 88's "My A.U.X. Mind" (on the 430 West sister label Direct Beat), as well as their own Octave One recordings: "Empower", "Nicolette", 'The X-files", "Meridian", “Love and Hate”, “The Greater Good”, and 'Siege". They have remixed tracks for such artists as Massive Attack, Akabu (Joey Negro), DJ Rolando (Jaguar), Steve Bug, John Thomas, Aril Brikha, Vince Watson, The Trampps, Rhythm is Rhythm, and Inner City.
