My Future single is taken from the upcoming album, 'Mancbeth' by Octavia Freud & The Weird Sisters. The song and album is based on the Macbeth story but updated 400 years to the 90's rave era in Manchester clubland. The track explores the opening scenes in the play when the three weird sisters tell Macbeth that he will become King. Macbeth doesn't believe them. When his wife and resident DJ at Glam-iz, the club that they run on behalf of their crime boss Duncan, comes up with a murderous plan their fates are sealed. Single released 29/03/24. Album out 31/05/24. A stage production of Mancbeth featuring live versions of My Future and other tracks off the album will be performed at Modern Art Oxford on April 20th 2024.

My Future

The concept album, 'Mancbeth' is based on Shakespeare's tale of ambition, greed and murder. It has been updated to Madchester clubland from an adaptation and script by David Lemberg and music by Martin Andrews, aka electronic artist Octavia Freud.
