What do you call it?” asked Joan, Queen of England running her palm lightly over the multifaceted dark crystalline surface of the sphere whilst holding it in the palm of her other hand. It glowed as her palm passed over it. Miniscule lightning bolts and sparking light cracked free from its dense neuron clustered branches stemming out from the pitch-black center of the object. In ancient times it would have been called, a sorcerer’s seeing stone. The electrified activity followed the Queens’ buff brown hand around its surface as her palm passed over it seeking to connect to it.
“A.I, Your Majesty,” replied Bergé.
“Artificial Intelligence? Hmm, I am a Queen and to be clear a Queen of England not a position held lightly or anachronistically. This is a gimmick, Bergé such technology is surely obsolete in the 22nd century!” snapped back Queen Joan.
