Citing diverse influences such as The KLF, Prince, the sort of left-field disco played by DJ Harvey and classic house producers like Mr. Fingers, Matthew Wasley aka Human Life produces catchy, potent electronic music with engaging vocals and strong song writing.
Originally from Boston, Human Life now lives in Los Angeles where he met Anabel Englund and the two became fast friends, soaking in the city’s underground warehouse parties together. "El Diablo“ (original version released on Win Music) marks the second collaboration of the pair, the first being their track "Falling“ which was released on Hot Creations in 2013. "El Diablo“ has lyrics influenced by Jim Morrison, harmonies reminiscent of The Beach Boys, and a deep, disco influenced production with an early 90’s touch. 
It was Sean Glass from Win Music NYC who sent the track to Shir Khan. The latter liked the original track so much that they both decided to give it some decent Exploited All Star Remix package. 
Now here are 4 different remixes for the club from Exploited mainstays Adana Twins and Joyce Muniz as well as friends Mia Dora and Hotlane.

Anabel Englund: "My friend Matthew Wasley (aka Human Life) introduced me to music like Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Kim Ann Foxman, Maya Jane Coles, Adana Twins and it all started from there. For the first time hearing it, I would say it sounded like sex. Good, dirty sex and I was hooked ever since.“

Human Life: "I would make her playlists every week to listen to. Adana Twins’ track "Everyday" was the soundtrack to many a car ride home. It's only fitting that now years later the Adana's have remixed our track "El Diablo“!“

Universal Solution aka Gavin Holland returns to Anjunadeep with the Bandur EP, following 2013’s sleeper hits “Yukon” and “Osheen”.

Featured on the chart-topping Anjunadeep 06 compilation, title track “Bandur” showcases the high energy side of the Universal Solution sound, fusing low end swells with a ravey vocal sample and trademark cosmic atmosphere. 

“Lost Code” is a throwback to 90’s acid house, with a classic progressive twist - imagine DJ Pierre crossed with Tom Middleton. Subtle melodic flourishes ebb and flow in another intricate composition.

Closing the EP is “Wukari”, a ten minute epic through the full range of Gavin’s sounds. Beautiful cinematic soundscapes wash over an absorbing groove interspersed with sumptuous beatless moments.

thatmanmonkz is an internationally acclaimed DJ, recording artist, producer and label boss at Shadeleaf Music. The Sheffield producer’s MPC driven soul inflected house style was born out of the influence of the mercurial master teachers of Detroit and 90’s boom bap. His discography includes solo EP releases on respected imprints Delusions of Grandeur, Classic Music Company, Kolour LTD and Dirt Crew.  Monkz is a sought-after remixer too, having reworked tracks for Amp Fiddler, Kraak & Smaak, Folamour, and Kon. Traxsource rated him the #10 deep house producer of the year in 2017, the year that also saw the release of his debut album ‘Columbusing’ and its accompanying single successes ‘For Bae’ and ‘Turn It Out - with Dave Aju’.

In addition to producing and playing across the globe, thatmanmonkz runs a couple of his own labels. The elusive and vinyl only SWAT and internationally renowned Shadeleaf Music, which has seen releases and remixes from the likes of DJ Nature, Kai Alce, Damon Bell, Byron The Aquarius as well as thatmanmonkz himself. His recent work as part of hip hop duo Madison Washington, and as project producer for the critically acclaimed Pan Amsterdam, 
seeing him garner new attention from other genres within contemporary electronic music. The self- confessed studio addict shows no signs of letting up anytime soon!
 
On this release he returns alongside his frequent co-collaborator Pete Simpson (aka A Brother Is...) on the epic ‘Easy, Still’.  It’s a game of two halves featuring a plethora of funk laden live instrumentation along with his trademark mid-western flavoured MPC grooves.  Backed with the basement ready ‘Wash Good’, which manages to pay homage to his underground house master teachers whilst remaining defiantly contemporary.
