Sci-Fi Lo-Fi reflected a lot of the sound that I grew up with thanks to my Dad's "good taste" in music. This compilation was also the first time I'd really heard electronica sit side by side with the raw sounds of rockabilly and garage, at least on CD. I enjoyed a lot of electronic music that took inspiration from those styles of the 60's and 70's, and other Lo-Fi sounds, but never in such an uncut way. He seamlessly glued it all together with the addition of his own productions and remixes.

This is my tribute, and thanks, to Andrew Weatherall for completely ignoring any sense of barrier.
