Tapping in beautifully to the original's new wave leaning is Dust & Blood boss, Damon Jee. The French producer gives the original an 80's cinematic facelift, with a spine-tingling synth hook and powerful breakdown that bathes in neon and has us reaching for the lasers.

She Teiks, the prominent electronic duo from Cordoba, Argentina, is thrilled to announce the release of their new EP titled ‘En Trance.’ This explosive two-track EP will be available through the Mexican imprint, Duro Label.

Embark on a sonic odyssey as Iptamenos Discos presents a thrilling fusion of sound by label heads Local Suicide and Velax. Their EP casts a shadowy, atmospheric spell, blending industrial, electro, dark disco, and techno elements into a mesmerizing tapestry of sound.

The collaboration blossomed when the Berlin based Greco-German DJ duo, Local Suicide, crossed paths with Velax during his sojourn in Mexico City. Hailing from the frigid city of Surgut in Russia, Velax brings a narrative from the existential realm, having crafted music under various aliases for nearly a decade. Fatigued by the dichotomy of truth and falsehood, good and evil, Velax transcended to a metaphysical plane to weave his tales. Meanwhile, Local Suicide's distinctive blend of dark disco, new wave, EBM, and techno serves as the perfect complement to Velax's vision. This EP also boasts high class remixes from the esteemed French icon, Arnaud Rebotini, and the visionary Mexican artist, Andre VII.

Andre VII is a prominent figure in the Mexican electronic music landscape, recognized for his imprint Platino Records, for running the renowned club Bar Oriente in Mexico City and curating Sonar Festival in Mexico. His remix of "Toro" by El Columpio Asesino has gained widespread acclaim over the past year and has graced prominent stages, championed by techno heavyweights like I Hate Models and Amelie Lens. Equally remarkable is his reinterpretation of “Moustache”, Local Suicide & Skelesys’ hit featured on Local Suicide's debut album "Eros Anikate”. With his take on “Keep Driving”, Andre VII injects his signature flair, constructing an irresistible, danceable groove accentuated by deft vocal chops and propulsive percussion.

El productor francés Voltaire continúa forjando su camino en la renovación de la música electrónica francesa con el lanzamiento de su próximo álbum Echoes en 2025. Antes de su llegada, nos presenta un adelanto con su track "Dance", parte del EP "[QR]D.292.VOL1.24" en el prestigioso sello COD3 QR, fundado por Laurent Garnier.

Voltaire, un perfeccionista autodidacta que encontró su lugar en la música electrónica de manera fortuita, trae reminiscencias de las décadas doradas del techno, house y electro de los 2000 y 2010, fusionándolas con una frescura contemporánea. "Dance" es un claro ejemplo de su capacidad para evocar nostalgia sin dejar de innovar, ofreciendo un viaje lleno de energía y matices que capturan el espíritu de la música electrónica moderna.

The “Palestine Child of War Fundraiser” is a collective of underground, fringe, and outsider artists and musicians, who have come together to create an eclectic compilation album to raise funds for children of war, via the reputable charity MAPs (Medical Aid for Palestinians - https://www.map.org.uk/). All involved feel they must make a stand to raise awareness of the atrocities happening in Gaza and Lebanon, to show support for the innocent children and civilians who are suffering, and to help raise money for much-needed aid.

When we first put the call out for people to be involved, we were overwhelmed with the support. People feel passionately about this and want to offer their creativity to help. There are 25 artists/acts and musicians offering their work for free – including one electronic artist to curate the album, and one to master it. The genres included are wide-ranging and span everything from guitar music/Postpunk and New Wave to modern Folk, Electronic Music in many forms and styles, spoken word, experimental, instrumental, Rap and more. All are offering either a previously limited release, or unreleased, track and many have created pieces specifically for the compilation. Some pieces are uplifting and light. Some are charged and political. We have not been prescriptive in what people should offer. 
 
The talented 25 stem from a diverse range of backgrounds and nationalities, demonstrating international support for the cause. At first, everyone involved were people we know; a rag-tag group of artists and musicians from all areas of the UK, France, Sweden, and Berlin. These include Chris Mackin/Rotter, members of Meatraffle, Scud FM, and Red Peril, electronic artist Maria Uzor (ex-Sink Ya Teeth), House DJ and producer who started at the original Blackburn raves, DJ Funk Boutique, electronic artist and producer MAN2.0, Belfast producer Simon Sheldon and many more. However, as the project rolled over the first few weeks, it gathered even more meaningful momentum and great recent additions to the compilation are young Moroccan and Colombian electronic artists Reda Saiarh and Ravetop, San Francisco DJ and producer Jason Peters, Belgian producer soFa elsewhere who is offering a track from his 2025 album with Kwaito legend, Sandy B, and a young Palestinian/New Zealand rapper Imagine This with New Zealand Hip Hop artist Che Fu.

30 physical collages, in the Palestine tricolours, have been created, then digitised, so that each track will have its own download image. These will also be sold as part of the fundraiser. 

This is a raw, strong, and profoundly purposeful compilation with work coming from fringe musicians, who are mostly politically unrestricted by managers and labels. This will be part of its charm and impact, and probably why there are so many submissions! Everyone involved will promo the hell out of it too, as they are passionate about taking affirmative action.
