Millero & Alt Control - Daily Routine

Maori brings his unique style to Powder Music with an impressive EP.   Recently crowned the new king of indie dance on Beatport, Maori is riding a wave of positivity with a string of big releases and an ever busier gig diary.

Rising from the ashes of covid, his first forays into dance music garnered instant support and lead to signing music to Renaissance, Realm and Higher Ground. Now, with the wind in his sails and a clearly defined sound, Maori is bringing his melodic indie dance vibe to a club near you.   

Opening with ‘One Way’ rumbling bass and choppy ad libs juxtapose the crisp beats and spoken word mantra. Hypnotising and deep, the ebb and flow of electronic motifs plays perfectly for the modern floor. Next up, ‘Jaime’ follows a tribal path before mutating into a deep trance bruiser with clever drum work and a killer vocal hook. Finally, ‘Stranger Candy’ showcases Moari’s fun side with a funky bongo groover that grows into a shop-stopping festival monster.

After making his label debut only recently with a track on our fresh compilation „Radius Vol. 1" it is already about time for Adam Ten to return to Upon You Records with a fully fledged single named „Many Faces EP" which brings us two new solo tracks by the young, talented Israeli producer as well as one collaboration effort with fellow producer Mosko.

"Wuff" brings forth a slightly different take on the Israeli's musical work. Whilst staying true to his main game in terms of highly detailed, stripped down production value this tune brings happiness and cheerful joy due to its ever moving bass synth alone which is accompanied by loads of curious little sonic fairies that turn this cut into the most uplifting piece of Minimal TechHouse you might've heard in 2019 so far.

For the sixth release, we host two young artists from Tel Aviv, Adam Ten & Mosko, and three remixers who contribute fabulously to the Hosted spirit.

The original track 'Shadow Way' matches perfectly to the 'less is more' adage. An arpeggiated bass coupled to a fantastic vocal give a house dimension to the track and keeping the indie vibe.
Ivory delivers us his 'Physical Retouch' by holding the essential parts of the track and adding his melodic and dynamic touch. It's a amphetamine doped version that will fill up club aficionados needs.
For the second one, Mita Gami revisits the track and brings an afro imprint to the Ep with a new groove provided by his special drums. It's a another vision of a solid basis track.
Finally, Mufti and his legendary skills to edit original tracks gives us a destructured version and only keep the vocal and bass reminders. Heavy snare drums and bassline amators, this progressive Electro/Indie remix is for you.
