We are also extremely proud to announce the release of Oculus' second female artist, Natalia Roth who brings her deeper vibes and personality to the VA and Johnny Allen who teams up with Steev on a 10 minute acid infused techno trip.”

To mark the 10th release of Oculus Records we are excited to announce a 4 track EP by long awaited talent from Scotland, Hc Kurtz. An artist that has made an impact in the industry with music played by the top names.
Inspired by synthesised sound, film scores, dance floor Techno and rumbling bass frequencies, Kurtz has developed a unique sound that is continually mutating in a dynamic and progressive manner.

Beno-San & Damien Fisher have joined forces and created two special tracks that combine the energy & tempo of Berlin rollers whilst maintaining the essence and nostalgia of the once dominant Minimal sound.

'Misunderstood' and 'Psilocin' are 2 track names that have become very recognisable to Damien Fisher, his productions and the noise they are making in today's scene.
'Misunderstood' was first featured by Richie Hawtin at TimeWarp25 and has received continued support, being featured in many of Hawtin's sets. Dark, groovy and percussive, typical of Damien's sound. This track features a minimal masterpiece remix by Malek Ales, a growing talent in both minimal and Techno. 
'Psilocin', the second original on this EP IS a track that takes you on a journey from beginning to end, holding the key elements of groove, mood and bass that captured Dubfire's attention in the Bridge_48 Studios competition in 2019!

The eye in Oculus signifies discovering deep within the depths of our mysterious and stylish genre we call Techno, searching for artists with raw talents and bringing them to the surface so that their music can be heard and exposed in the underground scene.

Many ancient esoteric, as well as earth-based philosophies, consider the eye as a channel or a passageway into a new dimension. Here the eye is not a physical symbol but rather an ethereal one in which consciousness may enter into a gateway of infinite expanse. This journey is traversed through the pitch-black channel of being-ness (represented by the black of the pupil). Once the threshold is crossed, one is said to obtain higher knowledge - a glimpse of heightened epiphany - comparable to enlightenment.
