It was a special connection between Pierro and us from the first day we've met, he was playing 20h when he came to Ljubljana, he showed us a lot of unique records, his distinctive sound inspired many.. We're really happy he made the next podcast for us, it is trully something special and different from anything we heard. Here are some words from Pierro for this mix: "The construction of this work was made during quite a long time, starting about 4 months ago when i was let’s say in a kind of difficult period. At the time i was doing nightmares every nights. Then you slowly wake up and sometimes it’s a beautiful smooth winter’s end day. Then time flies and you can look back at a certain kind of evolution. That’s what i mean with the nightmare and the waking up relationship and this is it for every single person here, it simply goes down then up and maybe down again sometimes. For me solution is often about creation.. If i can do it i will do; Because creation mixed up with a lot of emotions is my key 😘".

Faye is a long time record collector, here are some words for this work by the artist: ''When I look back, I see the various paths I've taken, some of which I continue to nurture and some not. Faye is the name I came up with back in the day when I started doing graffiti. Then, during university, I set aside this activity and shifted my focus to music and records. After spending years as part of a duo, I'm getting back into my artistic journey under this alias. And this is the first solo podcast I've dropped in a long time. The concept behind it blends the desire to maintain consistency and uniformity in style while evoking different settings and emotions. You'll find tension, mystery, excitement, redemption... all mixed in with robotic swing, otherworldly rap, ancient Egyptian adventures, and some rarefied indie-rock concerts. Yela’s upbringing in England exposed him to a rich and vibrant music scene, igniting his passion for electronic music. His tireless digging through vinyl collections in search of abstract and unique tracks has allowed him to curate intriguing sets, in which he is known to explore the interconnectivity between a variety of different genres, tying his selections with elements of a tribalism, intricate percussion and a touch of cinematic flair. Six years ago, Yela returned to his hometown, Antwerp in Belgium where he recently co-founded the musical passion project Oridoo together with Hofmann. Over its first editions Oridoo has featured some promising upcoming local & international DJ’s behind the turntables and aims to deliver authentic electronic musical experiences from the heart.

PHI002 returns to your favourite record store with a vengance. The Pragmatism EP opens with a subtle yet catchy electro rattle crawling from a wet basement, soon opening rusty iron doors with an "early 90s electronica" sign with the help of a massive atmoshperic push. Dial-up Terror manages to recall the boundless sounds of pioneering techno days only to give hand to the playful and jacking afterhours stomper that is No - Fun + Compute. Crossroads between ambient and electro rarely sounded as dreamy as with timeless Ultrasonic Sensei Particle and its kaleidoscopic arrangements, that might have landed on of your favourite early Warp releases. PHI002 saves best for last with cinematic hypnotism called Memento Mori, a perfect closure for a colourful release that carves a soundscape deeper than trendy genre names.

Imagine Apollo 13 mission commanded by Mika Vainio and ERP and you might get an idea of the intergalactic atmospherics crawling from the new Phi chapter. Slovenian minimalism afficionado Evano returns to Phi with an icy pulse that starts the electro romanticism on the first track and soon turns to hypnotic four to the floor pace. Atonal minimalism intensifies with the last two tracks but manages to make the vacuum of music space sound incredibly human.
