En avril dernier, c'était au tour du label parisien StillMuzik de prendre le contrôle de la radio !
Label que nous apprécions particulièrement puisque les deux fondateurs font parti de la famille du Mellotron via leur émission Les frères Pastor.

Une bonne partie des beatmakers avec qui ils travaillent régulièrement étaient présents, comme SNKA, Quetzal aka Al Quetz, Monk', The Marv, Biof, Old Jay, Adjaman et Doc Mastermind.

Vruno quotes Violeta Parra: music is a free bird flying. 
Born in Valparaiso, Chile, this bird has flown to many places - absorbing inspiration from Mexico City, Reno, Cancun, Carrillo Puerto, Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Prague and Berlin and translating them into his own productions.
A believer of the power of musical vibrations, Vruno’s  sound has an ancestral feel that resonates from within. As long as he can remember, he has heard music in his head - music that he needed to externalize by “printing” them onto speakers for the world around him to listen. Moved by the wonders of the planet we live in, his music is organic and celebratory, with ethnic elements woven into a multitude of textures.
This mix consists 100% of his own productions and was recorded in Prague whilst watching the sunset with a spectacular view. Conveying a somewhat spatial sound, it  embodies the global beat we Urban Cosmonauts want to convey: with a constant motor of rhythm propelling us to melodic heights and organic symphonies of sounds.

The long-awaited music work by Dj Tchijevsky, dj, sound producer and vinyl digger, representative of the famed French music bureau Paris DJs, for which he released podcasts of Soviet funk, jazz & hip-hop. 
The album Soviet tribes is a compilation of edits of the Soviet pop in groovy funky beats, with using of samples from Soviet vinyl records and films of the 70s and 80s.

DJ Mad Lubi, based in Berlin, is resident-DJ at 'Panke Culture' and belongs to the Kreyol crew, one of the Berlin sound systems for Afro-Tropical music.

With his companion Nicoslav Nachhall he's hosting the event 'eclectic culture'. They're searching for vinyl treasures around the world and presenting a never-ending selection of music free from the limitation of genre. They invited extraordinary DJ's like Fog Puma, menqui, Nomad, esclé, Eli Pavel, Futte Rico, Hugo Mendez, Sigourney Skywalker to name a few. He's hosting his own events for nearly 20 years now, co-hosted a festival stage for two years and played gigs from Copenhagen to Istanbul. 

Magïc Müllï is always on the run to discover and create new forms of texture, patterns and rhythm in photography, textiles and music.

According to the Maya, each human being is born with two souls. One of them is known as the uxlab. It is invested in the body and in breathing. It remains within the body until the moment of our death.

The second aspect of the soul is quite different. Sometimes the Maya use the word nawal to describe this aspect of the soul. The nagual is not vested in the body, but can roam freely through astral and spiritual realms, which is what it does while we are sleeping. In its travels, it may meet and interact with the wandering naguales of others, whether humans, animals, plants or even minerals. From such interactions are our dreams fashioned and created.

While all living things possess a nagual or spiritual essence, the nagual of a human being differs from that of other sentient beings. Our nagual may be more accurately called uwach uk’ij, which, in the K’iche’ language, literally means “the face of his or her day.” In other words, this is the energy template or imprint of the Sacred Calendar day upon which we are born. Our day-sign soul is our nagual, our spiritual essence, our archetypal imprint. And this is the soul which dreams.

Take a trawl through Mushrooms Projects’ ample back catalogue, and you’ll immediately be struck by their constant artistic progression. Throughout their career, Giorgio Giri and Marco Lentano have refused to stand still, with each successive release offering a subtle signs of musical evolution.

They’re at it again on Rivea Corymbosa, a sophomore set that’s markedly different – albeit similarly minded – to their 2013 debut album, Undergrass. That album bristled with psychedelic intent, offering fuzzy, thickset fusions of dub-disco grooves, gritty funk-rock guitar licks and acid-fried musical flourishes. It was in marked contrast to their early 12” singles, which offered a nu-disco-era take on the pioneering Cosmic Disco sound developed in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s by fellow Italians Daniele Baldelli and Beppe Loda.

With Rivea Corymbosa, the Parma-based production duo has moved on once more. For starters, it’s far breezier and more positive in feel than many of their previous releases. The claustrophobic atmosphere and drowsy textures, so noticeable on Undergrass, have been replaced by the kind of lazy, sun-kissed vibe that evokes thoughts of Adriatic sunsets and afternoons spent by the pool on the Italian Riviera.

Even more startling is the duo’s expanded musical repertoire. The album features a much wider array of elements, from the title track’s darting Rhodes keys, vintage synth solos and wah-wah guitar flashes, to the humid pedal steel lines of “Baiano”, and the husky spoken vocals and spooky flute solos of the sparse, bongo-laden “Pulsacao”. They’re not afraid to utilize their own field recordings, either, as the children’s chatter underpinning recent single “Dirty Bolas” perfectly proves.

Throughout, the percussion feels loose and organic, the guitars casual but funky, the keys sumptuous and sensual, and the bass lines warm, rich and intoxicating. It’s the sound of two confident musicians, comfortable in their art, making music to soothe minds and gently tease punters towards the dancefloor.
