German maestro Markus Suckut readies his much awaited Blurred Memories II package with another set of four original tracks due on vinyl and digital for the ODD / EVEN imprint ran by Andre Kronert.

With a back catalogue of brilliance, Markus’ music can be found on quality labels like Lucy’s Stroboscopic Artefacts, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode Limited, Len Faki’s Figure, Sven Väth’s Cocoon, Edit Select Records and Scuba’s Hotflush. An essential producer of the modern era, he stamps a stern collection of raw, thunderous and grooving club jams.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the track called “Take 2” that screams an instant weapon. Hypnotic and mechanical, the sound design is licked in dramatic tension from the delayed, bending hook and its sci-fi feel, while the beat rolls on through with a perfect poise.

For the past fifteen years Argentinian-born, Barcelona-based producer Juan Pablo Pfirter has been pushing steely, dark and uplifting sounds. 

Musically, Pfirter has worked his magic with focus and style, gracing the likes of CLR, Figure, Mord, Stroboscopic, and Artefacts with choice singles whilst also headlining some of the most respected electronic music bastions and events such as: Berghain, Tresor, Concrete, Awakenings and Time Warp. 

In 2006, Pfirter started his own imprint, MindTrip ,which has become an evolving techno-landscape. The label serves as both a vessel for his own output and that of his close friends and collaborators, such as Jonas Kopp, Stanislav Tolkachev, Dold, Fanon Flowers, and more.

Overall, Pfirter’s productions are always filled with the depth of energy that is needed right in the middle of the dancefloor to forget everyday life.

Auden’s third EP sees the shadowy producer stride familiar lengths of eclecticism while dipping into fresh sources of inspiration.
The title track yearns for the glory days of UK Rave with its sunrise chords overlaying broken beats and drops of acid. The homage is all but shorn on Alan Fitzpatrick’s remix as he contemporises it into a techno bomb with a breakdown to remember. Flexing typical versatility, ‘Simmer Down’ provides the counterpoint with rolls, bounces and jacks in equal measure while ‘Sewer System’ rounds off the EP in a blissed-out discordant ambience.
