Sound Avenue's progressive offshoot 3rd Avenue reaches its 30th release this week and with that they welcome Blusoul back to the label. The first remix is provided by Praveen Achary who is making his first appearance on 3rd Avenue. The Indian producer and Juicebox Music mastermind has been quiet on the production front to start the year but he kicks it off in style here with a great interpretation of 'Falling'. Praveen has reworked the elements from the original wonderfully into a smoother more streamlined beast which is just as powerful as the original. The undulating foundation from the original has been toned down a touch in favour of a momentous hypno groove which sounds perfect for the progressive house contemporaries out there. Add to that a dazzling top end of memorizing key clusters and you've got a great complement to Blusoul's massive original. - "Release Promo"

Super proud to be part of the 'Five Years of microCastle' collection. Out on July 28th, 2014!

Mitch has been such a huge influence and inspiration to me over the years. The way he's executed things, his foresight into the future sound as well as being an amazing human. I couldn't be more thankful. This marks one major point off my bucket-list.

This stellar collection contains some of the best moments the label has had over the course of its first 5 years, along with new interpretations ... including mine. I've gone and done something completely different from my usual sound, something I've been experimenting on based on my experiences over the dance-floors in India, a dark & slow techno-ish builder. I hope you like it.

"The 27th release on Nikko.Z's Dopamine Music features the return of Praveen Achary to the label. The Indian producer first appeared on the Greek imprint with his 'Suspended Animation' single which was released in November of 2013. Fast forward 10 months and Praveen's Juicebox Music branded events, radioshow and label imprint have continued flourish. His place amongst India's most influential electronic music figures has never wavered and continues to rise with each successive gig and project. The Indian producer's last original production was in fact 'Suspended Animation' so his ever growing fan base has been hungry for some new original material for quite some time. Praveen's long awaited second single for Dopamine Music is entitled 'Kibou' and it comes with a remix from Danny Lloyd. A new sound has been coming out of Praveen's studio of late. His recent remix of Cid Inc. & Lank's 'Coronal Mass' was a prime example of that and 'Kibou' takes it one step further. Getting underway with a tight hypnotic groove it's a production that seems to methodically gain momentum.  It's wide array of trippy electronics, rolling beats and drifting psychedelia is immensely stimulating. But for as heady as that sounds the pulsating groove and dynamic bass stabs keep the production firmly focused on the dance floor. Certainly one of Praveen's most inspired works to date and a foreshadowing of the fresh sounds to come I'm sure. Praveen has also supplied a Dub version of 'Kibou' which reworks the original elements into a highly stylized and more stripped down framework. Both excellent dance floor weapons." - Mitch Alexander

Belgian producer K-Deey joins Say What? with a powerful statement in the form of the Delulu EP — a hypnotic, rolling, and groove-driven collection of four finely crafted techno cuts.

The EP kicks off with 'Delulu' - built around a pulsating low-end and tight, swinging percussion, this track teases and evolves with subtle oldschool stabs and hypnotic vocal snippets that seem to echo from a distant dimension. The result is a track that keeps the floor locked in while allowing the mind to drift — a perfect opener for setting a deep, rolling mood

Next up is 'Whimsical', a deeper and more introspective offering. Here, K-Deey leans into a hypnotic loop structure, with subtly evolving synth phrases and a dubby bassline that anchors the track. There’s a dreamlike quality in the textures, creating a perfect final chapter for the EP. It’s a track that invites inner reflection just as much as it commands movement.

The third track on the release is '16:1' - a sharp, percussive groove lays the groundwork for layered synth stabs and intricate hi-hat patterns that push the track forward relentlessly. There's a mechanical yet playful edge here — a kind of controlled chaos — making it ideal for peak-time energy without ever becoming too obvious. The minimal arrangement leaves space for DJs to stretch and manipulate in the mix.

Closing the EP is 'Tachitita', diving into more Electro techno territory. The groove is warm and bouncy, led by metalic-inspired rhythms and interlocking drum patterns that evoke a sense of ritualistic movement. Unexpected dark textures and tonal percussion elements flicker across the stereo field, giving this track a playful but driving character that keeps dancers engaged and guessing.

Say What? is happy to welcome the new collaborative EP from Spanish/Chilean techno craftsmen Under The FX and JFERNANDEZ. Fusing precision-engineered grooves with emotional depth, the duo dives into the disorienting and fascinating world of time perception through hypnotic, rolling techno.

Opening the EP with elegant chaos, 'Desfase Circular' plays with looping sequences and subtly shifting percussion that evolve in a spiralling motion. Syncopated low-end patterns pull the listener in while atmospheric elements swell and retract like tidal waves of tension. It’s a circular rhythm that never quite returns to the same place.

A mechanical heart beats off-kilter in 'Pulso Desviado'. Clock-like clicks, rolling sub-bass, and warped synth stabs generate a hypnotic drive that feels both relentless and unstable. The groove continuously deviates from expected patterns, creating a sense of temporal distortion—like a second hand skipping beats in a dream..

The third track on the release 'Reloj Interno' explores the body’s own rhythm. Here, organic percussion interlocks with warm, rolling bass and subtle modular tones. The groove feels intimate and alive—almost biological. Pulses echo like a heartbeat, gradually layered with evolving synth textures that mirror the shifts of day and night. It’s a track that breathes, grounded in groove but aimed toward inner exploration.

Closing the EP on a deeper, more meditative note, 'Tiempo Suspendido' suspends time itself. Space opens up between the kick and the rhythmic elements, allowing haunting pads and ghostly effects to drift in like forgotten memories. The track moves slowly yet purposefully, capturing that strange sensation when moments feel stretched—when time no longer feels like a straight line. Perfect for closing sets or introspective home listening.
