Legendary German techno duo Pan-Pot announce their brand-new project ‘FORTE’, a collection of ten singles. Each track presents individually, each telling their own unique story influenced by the duo’s ever-evolving sound over the years - something that has kept them perpetually current. The culmination also marks a milestone 20th anniversary for the duo, serving as a resounding reminder of why they have been at the forefront of the scene for over two decades.

’FORTE’ meaning strong, translates all the good and bad times we have had, in a way that reflects on our sound. It's a journey of reflection, reinvention, and inspiration from our travels around the world and the people we have met along the way. The tracks emulate the past, present, and future, in a range of styles, but most importantly they are all tracks which we love and enjoy playing. Christian Smith recently spent a few days in Germany working on some tracks with Eric Sneo. Life Moves Pretty Fast has a nice old school feel, but with todays production. Loads of energy with phat grooves, and analog stabs. Deluxe is arpeggio driven, more hypnotic, but equally powerful!

We are back with some fresh new talent from Finland - Kid93, who delivers a 4-track EP packed with driving low-end, funky machine funk, and vocal-laced tension that nods to classic warehouse energy while keeping things undeniably fresh.

The title track 'Master Blaster' opens the EP with a tight, rolling groove forming the backbone while metallic synth hits and warped FX textures rattle around the stereo field. It’s relentless but funky, pure stripped-down momentum with a late-night attitude, making this one a proper set-builder and floor-shaker.

'Machine Soul' goes deeper into Dub-indebted territory, fusing robotic swing with a soulful core. The beat is minimal yet warm, spiced with dusty drums and shimmering percussions, giving the track both mechanical precision and emotional resonance.

'Nocturnal Animals' is a percussive groover built around syncopated rhythms, vocal snippets, and melodic motifs that flirt with paranoia. It’s hypnotic and unpredictable with a unique flavour for a strobe-lit basement.

Closing out the EP with 'Down Dirty' - a rave-ready bomb equiped with the raw drums, crunchy snares, and a rolling sub. This is pure warehouse heat - nasty, funky, and impossible to ignore whether you're deep in a bunker or on a festival rig.

Epic synths are layered over a foundation of kick and rolling bass, tying the drums together through the rim. My aim was to create a groove that’s simple to listen to, allowing the focus to shift more toward the progression of the main sound element, a build-up of energy that unfolds over time.

If I had to associate this EP with an experience, I’d imagine it as a plane ride: during takeoff, you feel the force pinning you to your seat until the moment the plane lifts off and begins to climb… Up in the air, you feel light, weightless, until the descent begins. Here comes the drop: the wheels touch the runway.
